Que the Cowboy's callapse
Boy do i love this annual event.
The entire team (not just Romo) just lacks the mental discipline to execute late in the season in combination with a tough schedule. Anyone else see the Skins beating these guys in 2 weeks at home?

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
This is discussed in so many threads... Although I did call this coming the same day we should have beat them in Dallas...

My favorite time of the year, makes you want to snuggle up with a warm banket and hot cocoa, and enjoy the collapse..

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
Wait wait wait- you predicted the Cowboys would fall apart in December? Wow. Way to go out on a limb!

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
I tell you Karma has me scared to say much, but here is a quote from the Mod at a Cowboy site, good guy- well run site like ours here, and it strikes me that our two franchises have faced similar struggles, and while I like seeing them go down their fans (not the idiots) have suffered mightily (I am not crying or sympathizing, but also not gloating, it is what it is). This quote is from their equivalent thread to Smoot's Smackdown.

Great read. As for "karma" of whatever voodoo nonsense...we've already lost many more major players to possibly career-ending injuries, so if anything, Dallas has more to come to catch up to us. The Saints will kill them and we'll beat them to OFFICIALLY eliminate them from the playoffs.

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
I think the pokes will rebound & beat the Saints. N.O. just clinched a 1st round bye, sure they have home field to play for, but this team is not playing its best now. They're due to be upset.
I won't be upset about it if this does happen, cause we'll get the pokes a week later & they'll be overconfident. |

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
It feels pretty good. I'm not going to rub it in though, b/c we can't throw stones over here. We're generally not even in a position to have a late season collapse.
The Cowboys have alot of talent though, enough that should be able to get them into the playoffs and further. I suspect alot of changes w/ both teams this offseason. Yesterday, was nice though. Good to see ol Norv get a W in Dallas. |

Re: Que the Cowboy's callapse
Romo should be called Mr. November. He probably has the best winning percentage of all QBs for the month of November, only to follow that with an annual swoon. The Dallas December Doldrums have become as regular as the lunar phases.
