Re: Kitna to the Cowboys.

Sort of interesting... Choko Romo pulled his head away from Jessica's cleavage for a minute and thought about calling Wade but decided not to.

Yes, all our money spent is in vain. With Homo we had a chance to win twice each season. Now were screwed.

Re: Kitna to the Cowboys.

I'm surprised they gave up a starting CB to get him. It's not like Anthony Henry is a star, but he's decent. Terrance Newman is and always will be overrated (and injury prone), Pac Man is gone, and Mike Jenkins has potential to emerge but hasn't yet. Unless they have high hopes for Orlando Scandrick, they'll probably look to CB again in the draft.

Yeah that's is what I saw. I think their draft now points heavily towards CB in the draft. I don't see why they would be that transparent though so they might have plans to pull down a CB free agent and a mid-round draft pick.

The rookie they had last year was still kind of shaky when it came to being physical.

...you know what they may have Springs lined up for a contract and felt like they can get give his spot to Springs. A deal from Dallas may be around the corner.

He'll suck just as bad, the good news is that he will be throwing picks all over the place.

Re: Kitna to the Cowboys.

GMScud:

You hit the nail on the head. Matt Cassell - with Vrabel as a throw-in - brings back a 2nd round pick. So how does Jon Kitna cost a starting cornerback?

Yes, Kitna is an upgrade over Brad Johnson who had a good run in the NFL and has a Super Bowl ring but there is no tread left on his tires. But still, how is Kitna worth a starting CB???

Henry plays 16 games for the Lions barring injury.

Kitna plays zero games for the Cowboys barring injury.

Makes no sense...

Re: Kitna to the Cowboys.

Yet again, Dallas nuts up. It is a sad state when the Lions have bent you over two deals in a row.

Brooking takes over the over the hill middle linebacker spot that Zach Thomas filled last year.

Kitna could end up being an upgrade from Romo.
