Terrance Newman: "Significant Groin Injury"

Hmmm, Adam don't call me Pac Man anymore Jones just became a lot more valuable to the Cowgirls. The dreaded "significant" groin injury will keep Newman on the shelf for some time. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a tear. I remember hearing this diagnosis for Stephen Jackson early last year and he was never really 100% all season.

ESPN - Cowboys CB Newman to miss at least three weeks of practice - NFL

They've got crazy depth at CB. They've got Terrance Newman, Adam Jones, Anthony Henry, Mike Jenkins, and Orlando Scandrick, among others. They could probably lose 2 guys and still be fine.

I wish our LB depth looked like their CB depth.

Yeah, Steven, Stephen, whatever. Rams RB Steven Jackson is who I was referring to.

It's just strained not pulled or torn. It's preseason so they said they'll just sit him for 3 weeks just to make sure it heals all the way, which is great, because Pac can get back into playing shape and speed, and the rookie Mike Jenkins can get some reps.

He'll be just fine. These camp injuries are a pain to the minds of fans aren't they.
