Fox Sports Offseason Power Rankings
FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Super Bowl foes top offseason Power Rankings
10 — Washington: Everyone's talking about Philly, New York and Dallas in the NFC East, but it's Washington that returns 21 starters from last year's NFC wild-card team. Add in six-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor from Miami, free agent Erasmus James from Minnesota and gritty safety Stuart Schweigert — and a hit-or-miss defense from a year ago suddenly becomes one of the league's most dynamic. On offense, Jim Zorn brings a new offense and a new philosophy, and the bevy of new receiving options selected in April's draft give Jason Campbell some receivers above six feet to pass to. Want to talk sleeper NFC champion contenders? Look no further than the 202. Camp: Ashburn, Va. |

Re: Fox Sports Offseason Power Rankings
it's kind of silly when your entire division is basically in the top 10 teams... (top 11 technically).

Re: Fox Sports Offseason Power Rankings
Pre-season predictions are fun, but truly can't be taken too seriously. Too many variables during the grind of the season determine a teams success/failure. No one expected the Skins to go on a run last year after all they had been through. Last years pre-season predicitions had us being a terrible team (especially on defense).

Re: Fox Sports Offseason Power Rankings
I think he was talking about area code 202 in DC... I really hope we stay as underdogs and ranked low in pre-season rankings. Honestly our team is a big question mark, especially in offense. I think too much hype has hurt this team before, such as the year that Al Saunders came on board, and everyone was touting our team as a contender. I must say though that having almost all of our starters back and adding players to our defense such as Jason Taylor does make a good argument for us being a sleeper team.
