Ogunleye for Marty Booker and third
I dont have a link or anything, im not sure if there is one yet. They announced it during the game.
Man, poor fins fans, I think this is a bad trade made in desperation and will not benefit them at all.

Yeah it's pretty much official. I think they already gave up this year and are just trying to get some draft picks. They looked horrible tonight. But, at the same time our defense looked great! They only totalled 98 net yards!

Would have thought the 'Skins could have put a better deal for Miami on the table. Booker and a third pick just doesn't seem like alot. Maybe they should have waited it out another week or two for the highest bidder.

The skinns had no-one to dangle who could benifit the Dolphins right now . All we could offer is draft picks. Also it appears the Bears were offering O-Gun more money than we were prepared to give

They agreed to yerms. That's why the deal was announced as done.
Booker was a pro-bowler... not to shabby WR. |

Yeah, oddly enough I'm starting to think the Dolphins have the best two starting WRs in the game. Booker had a bad year last year, but what Bear didn't. I expected big things out of him and Rex Grossman this year!
However I still feel that they should have gone for A Train. Oh well, maybe that GM knows something I don't! |

I'm just glad the speculation about O-Gun is officially over and we can move on.

AT first I didnt think this was a good deal, I thought Booker was like 34...he is only 28. before last year he had 100 and 97 catches in 2001 and 2002... they could have done a lot worse than Marty Booker. I also agree that it is nice to be able to put teh O-gun coming here rumors to bed...

best WR duo in the league is not chambers and booker, while solid, not the best. the best id have to say is the Rams, with Bruce and Holt. And what about Darrell Jackson and Koren Robinson?

I think you're right about the Rams and Seahawks. After that I'd probably put Pitt with Ward and Burress, and Cincy with Johnson and Warrick
I think up and coming is Detroit with Rogers and Williams

The dolphins didnt want a-train I dont think. hes hasnt been that good in recent years and wouldnt prove to be much of an upgrade. They have that rookie, fred russel, that is aweseome at special teams right now and looks like he'll quickly win the starting hb role as well.

(Sorry...I don't know how to start a new thread, so I'm posting it here.) DE Tony Brackens was released by Jags. I think he would be good pickup for a veteran's minimum wage. I know he's got knee problems, but I think he still could be solid player for our D-Line.
