Meeks to get second interview tuesday, sorry no link
It was just reported on ESPN news, anyone else see that? I'll take Meeks over Fassel anyday

But what's the advantage of Meeks over Fassel?

Not he best candidate from what I can tell. His resume is not all that impressive, and a 53 its not ike your taking a chance on him dispite his lack of stats because he is a younger guy. We'll see, but Id be very surprised if he was named HC.

It's a cover your ass interview. DS is making it seem like he's giving these other guys a chance, in the end he'll hire Fassel (no surprise here) because he'll say he was the most qualified of all candidates.

Wherever he's been as a position coach, the position improved dramatically. Remember when Bobby Bethard was about to hire Joe Gibbs, Mr. Cooke asked him, "Who the hell is Joe Gibbs? A young unknown, with no HC experience who went on to have a HOF career. I don't know what Meeks' chances are of coming here as coach, but he would be an excellent choice, and great for the city of Washington, DC.
