Pittsburgh vs Washington (injuries)

It's funny how the media hardly ever says anything about our injury situation but another team has injuries and boy are they all over it. Here's an example.

Steelers' worrisome injury list for playoffs: long, and growing

Re: Pittsburgh vs Washington (injuries)

Yeah I see what u mean. Skimming the article it looks as though Pitt is down 5 starters going into this weekend. We're down five right now also by my count (RT, JJ, RM, CR, and of course ST) and at several points through the season we've been down many more starters than five, but the columnists never talk about that being an issue for us.

Bullshit, as usual.

My response that article? -- Yawn.

That's nothing compared to what we've had to deal with ALL YEAR.

You forgot Jason Campbell as an injured starter. I think the media has mentioned our injury crisis.

Re: Pittsburgh vs Washington (injuries)

Most of our injuries came early in the year. The media is kissing Redskins ass lately because of ST and Gibbs' awesome character and leadership. And our team rocks. All teams have dealt with injuries this year, but I have the feeling Jags will whup on Steelers this weekend. Oh and Skins win too.

We're the only team in the playoffs without their starting QB though. This team is a story on so many levels this year.

Well, weeks ago we were on the outside of the playoff picture. Now we're in.

The story of a good team derailed by injuries is all over the teams that are staying home - it isn't really news.
