Decent Job Ramsey...And Now He Has Taylor Jacobs!
I searched and didn't see a thread, so apologies if this has been discussed. For those of you who did not follow the the Lions-Broncos game (which probably no one did), Ramsey came in and did an okay job when Cutler went down with an injury. Definately backup worthy I suppose.
I didn't see many highlights (other than Ramsey getting sacked and fumbling of course, and throwing the pick that was returned for a TD), but here was his stat line: Ramsey completed 29 of 46 passes for 262 yards with a TD pass to Brandon Stokley, an interception and a fumble. Anyways, when ex-Skins players leave on a good note, I like to see them doing well (when not playing us). Broncos look pretty terrible this year overall though. bigM Last edited by bigmarley4; 11-05-2007 at 05:05 PM. Reason: fixed after further consultation |

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
His stat line ended up with some respectable numbers (albeit against a wretched Lions pass D), and I must admit I somehow missed this game so I don't speak with much first-hand knowledge, but I kind of suspect a lot of those yards came towards the end of the 44-7 blowout and are padded considerably. If he fumbled and threw a pick 6 I'd say he probably didn't play all that great, probably pretty badly. I also predict someone will be pissed to have another Patrick Ramsey thread. Beware.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
I'd like to forget about pat ramsey. It's fun to watch ex-teammates get beat up.

Ahhhh Sage, the one that got away. Spurrier never gave him a chance. Damn him.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
that was one of the game i could watch where im at instead of the skins game, dont let the numbers fool you, they were getting blown out, he was throwing behind recievers and stuttering around like he always has. still had the connon arm. those stats are mostly junk yardage.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
I think I heard that Ramsey leveled the guy who made the interception. I could be wrong and it was Ramsay that got leveled when he threw the int..

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
I watched the whole game and he looked like the same QB he was when he left here. Had some tight spirals, but for the most part looked lost and incapable of leading his team. Especially on key downs.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
I watched the game and he was complete shit. He padded those stats and even when the Lions stopped playing he gave them every opportunity to continue to pile on...he fumbled twice and lost one and he threw an INT to a DT for a TD.
Thank god he is no longer on the roster.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
I saw quite a bit of him and the stat line doesn't tell the whole story. He stunk.

Re: Decent Job Ramsey
First of all, no ex-Redskin is your ex-teammate.
Second, why is it fun to watch ex-Redskins get beat up? Are you actually Dan Snyder, or just vindictive? And this isn't exclusive to you. There's a lot of people around here that like to bash former Redskins, but you just happened to be the one to make a blunt comment about it. |
