Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
It's now official. Will post a link once I see one. Gibbs said it during his press conference today
Like I said in another thread, it's time for Smoot to back up the smack.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
Damn that hurts our secondary considerably, I felt he was playing his best this season. Damn it. Is it the ACL or Broken Leg?

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
The worst is confirmed. That is a shame for Carlos as I thought he was starting to come along nicely. Your right Smoot...Smoot MUST stay healthy and show up every week now.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
Gonna be very tough, because Smoot really hasn't been healthy this year.
Ack.

This is going to hurt is really bad. I thought Carlos was doing a great job so far this year. Hopefully Smoot can step up and catch up with his mouth.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
The worst part is, this is likley to greatly effect his performance next season as well. It ussually takes these guys a full season of playing after the surgery to really get back to where they were. We may have to keep Springs next year, if they were planning on letting him go.

The injury itself could make it so that he isn't 100% next year, I'll agree with that, but I don't think its going to hinder his development so much that we'd have to keep Springs around.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
Hopefully this will make all the Carlos haters realize how much of an asset he is to our defense.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
They just said on NFL Total Access that he tore his ACL and MCL. That is going to be tough to come back from. It will definitely slow him down next year.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
F'ing great. He tore BOTH the MCL and ACL in his leg! There is no way he'll be full-go come next September. The decision to draft Landry is looking better by the day. Macklin, Pierson, and the rest have to step it up. I wonder if we can re-sign Jeremetrius Butler.
