Let's stir the pot in Dallas

T.O. has offered his take on who he would choose as the No. 1 QB for Dallas given the choice:

10 Questions for Terrell Owens - TIME

If you could choose any quarterback in the NFL to be the No. 1 in Dallas, who would it be and why? Patrick McLeod, PANAMA CITY

"Man, that's a tricky question. I don't want to cause trouble ... O.K., I would say Peyton Manning, then Donovan McNabb. Peyton has history on his side, with his dad being a quarterback, and you can't say enough about how studious he is in the film room."

Seems T.O. didn't learn anything from running his yap in Philly about McNabb, no surprise there. Wonder if Romo feels unloved (probably doesn't give a damn considering the source). Let's just hope that somehow, someway, T.O. ignites some more controversy in Dallas.

Re: Let's stir the pot in Dallas

It doesn't strike me as particularly controversial to say you'd want Peyton Manning as your quarterback. I think Romo very well might implode, but I doubt it will be because T.O. made such a banal statement.

Yeah, these aren't the droids you're looking for. Nobody on the Cowboys, including Romo, is going to get upset at that comment. Who wouldn't want Peyton as their QB?

If Romo were to get bent out of shape about that, the players would tell him to STFU and stop being such a whiny bitch.

Re: Let's stir the pot in Dallas

What WR would not want Payton as their QB? It was a stupid question as most of them were but who would disagree with his answer. If you think its a slap in the face to Romo its not. Romo has to know that he is not as good as Payton. If Moss answered the question the same way it would not bother me and if we as fans where asked that questions we would answer the same way. TO was correct as it was a trick question because if he answered Romo people would laugh at him and if he answers Payton people will say he is not backing his QB and if he refused to answer the question it would be the same as saying another QB other than Romo.

Wow, I'm surprised he even mentioned Donovan McNabb.

WR Owens Has Lofty Goals In 2007
Clarence E. Hill, Star-Telegram -

Dallas Cowboys star WR Terrell Owens entered his first season with the club telling fans to get their popcorn ready because it was going to be a show. He caught 85 passes for 1,180 yards and an NFL-leading 13 touchdowns. But Owens was not the impact player he and the Cowboys hoped he would be, with a league-high 17 dropped passes and an assortment of hand, finger and hamstring injuries. Healthy and stronger than he has been in years, Owens plans to make amends in 2007 with an "explosive" season. His goals are 100 catches, 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. "With the skills I have, I really felt like I let this team down. Considering some of the things I was expected to do and I could've done, I'm ready to go this season. Not any problems. I look for a big year."
Hahahahahahahaha...sure, Terrell.

The circus is opening its tent.

Buster he NEVER Said that wach the interview on NFL.com the reporters ask him would he get 100 catches he said "I don't know I only have had 100 catches once in my career" then asked would you like to have 1500 yards " sure I'll like that" 20 td " well I will love that".

he answer what the media ask but he didn't came out and say This year I will have over 100 catches 1500 and 20 touchdowns it's the media creating their own cicus becasue it sell.

Randy Moss misses al camp with an apperent hamstring that suddenly it's ok and not a single report all preseason... T.O misses 1 practice OHHH he's faking it and have 100 reporter covering the story please

I'l have to agree that they jump on TO for some minor stuff but he has brought much of this attention on himself with his past actions.

Re: Let's stir the pot in Dallas

I was waiting for this interview to come up. From what I understand the interviewer asked if he could have any QB besides Romo, who would he pick.

TO hasn't done anything wrong in Dallas IMO. He hasn't given them his best play (yet?) but he hasn't been a headache besides the suicide deal I can't think of anything. Had the lance armstrong bit been anyone else, everyone would be laughing like me. He wanted to make work fun, have some laughs.

Where the hell have you been? I've heard about this about 50 times! Maybe it's not such a "big deal" in comparison to any time your idiot wr opens his mouth is because the Patriots are VERY tight lipped about injuries, and the Patriots players are told to conduct themselves with professionalism (something the cowboys and their fans have trouble doing).

Of course! People follow him around cause he WANTS to be a circus act. The moron tried to committ suicide for pete's sake! Just look at him...how about those tights he wore? He's worse than a woman wanting attention! I'm glad he's not here.
The man has talent, no doubt, but his head isn't worth it. If he had the head of just about anyone else, he'd be unreal! What a waste of talent.

Still, Terrell Owens is still beginning the season unhealthy, with a swollen head condition.

DUUUUDE there's a difference in reporting Moss has a hamstrign injury as to making speculations that Moss it's FAKING an INJURY because he doesn't want to practice which they did last year after t.O missed 2 practices and started to say this year after Phillip's gave him some rest
