Springs injures groin in practice
Well this is just FREAKIN GREAT.....Redskins Radio just reported Springs sprained his groin today in practice, just below his incision. The team was planning on getting him on the field on Sunday, now, nope. Lovely.

Re: Springs injures groin in practice
Im really really worried about the secondary THIS SUNDAY. Andre Johnson has the potential to be a bad ass. Eric Moulds is their No.2 receiver. The Skins could get burnt in the secondary badly, especially with Archuletta back there.

Re: Springs injures groin in practice
no excuses...the back's against the wall, they have a TERRIBLE oline, which is actually missing players, and Portis is back. If we lose this game...its over, Springs or no. A contender HAS to win games like these, even without one of its better players. As long as someone can convince Saunders that Moss is a wide receiver and Ladell Betts is not a future hall of famer, we should be fine.

Re: Springs injures groin in practice
When the injury bug bites a team its hard to get rid of it. SS wont be 100% this year so the guys playing now better step it up big time.

Question is Phillip Buchannon still playing for the Texans or did he go ahead and retire....? Because if not...we should pick him up...he is a veteran and he is still very good...BUT HE DOESENT MAKE THE DEFENSE! |

Damn thats crazy, Well this is just FREAKIN GREAT was the first thing that came to my mind. We have to build CB depth in the coming draft and get back on track with the DGreen, CBailey, FSmoots.

Re: Springs injures groin in practice
IMO, Rumph improved from week 1 to week 2. I think we will be fine with our DBs this week. I never thought Springs should play this week anyways so this just gives him one more week to get completely healthy.
And we are just getting all of our injuries out of the way and come December, we will be fresh and ready for the patented Joe Gibbs December push for the playoffs. Lets just hope that its not too late... |

Re: Springs injures groin in practice
Gibbs says it was just soreness from not being in work, but that it wasn't serious.
