Rock at Fullback and Iffy at strong safety, interesting considering Iffy doesnt have a contract and the Rock has kinda converted to Hback. Im sure we'll see Cooley step up into that role more.

Actually, I just double checked and Cooley is listed as the 4th TE for now, not even full back. I guess theres not an Gibbs Style Hback on the depth chart.

There is no official depth chart as yet. This is purely speculative.

you guys think Gardner is going to be here come preseason. I was glad when he didnt get traded, id rather have him than a 3rd round pick anyday. He sitll might be up as trade bait though, I want him to get another chance. I dont think he had a bad year last year, it was off from the year before but he also was the nubmer 2 receiver last year, and was 1 the year before.

Personally, I'd like to see Gardner stick around, if he improves his hands he can be an excellent compliment to Coles, but it would depend on what a team offered. I hope the front office is quiet if they are shopping him, because we don't need to give him something to complain about.

If a trade was going to happen for Gardner it would have been prior to or during the draft.

I think there is a good chance that a team may make an offer if they lose a #1 or #2 guy during training camp (sort of like what we did when Noble went down last training camp).
If someone offers a 3rd rounder, I don't see how we can turn it down, especially when you consider all the great things coming out of camp about Jacobs and McCants. Has anyone heard anything good coming out of camp on Gardiner? JoeCrisp? I know this team is built to win now, but I can't help but think that Gardiner really doesn't have much future here with those guys behind him who ostensibly have better attitudes and more athleticism. I'm not sure why they slotted a fullback in the 'Skins depthchart.
It's strange because they accomodate teams that run a 3-4 by including a slot for NT. Gibbs doesn't really use a fullback, so it's sort of silly to have Rock listed as the starting fullback. I think it would have been more realistic to have Rasby at TE and Sellers at H-Back. |

Dave Fiore a starting guard? The guy has not stepped on the field in almost a year. He might retire due to bad knees. This is a reach.
I hate to see Trung Canidate listed as #2 RB. I would rather see Ladell Betts. We need to aquire a reliable backup, that can stay healthy. |

out of 90 players, only 19 are new. That's only 21.1% turnover. Tampa won the super bowl with a much higher turnover rate.

haha, to bad that out of the 22 starters atleast 10 of them are new... Brunell, Portis, Raymer, Daniels, Griffin, Washington, Taylor, Barrow, Springs, Rasby...if Cooley starts that makes 11, which is 50% turnover. That the Bucs definitly did not have.

Basically the same old Gardner to this point. Hopefully, he steps it up a couple of notches in training camp. |

I'd say this depth chart is a little inaccurate in a couple of spots.
You guys have already mentioned the obvious ones: Fiore as starting left guard (Dockery or Friedman are strong possibilities there with Fiore likely to retire), Cartwright at fullback (he should be 3rd on the RB depth chart, behind Portis and Betts), Canidate as the #2 RB (he'll likely be cut by training camp), and Ohalete as the starting strong safety (he should be 2nd behind Bowen at SS, or behind Taylor at FS). I think these guys are making assumptions based on the experience of the respective players, and aren't taking into account the way things are shaping up in the latest minicamps. |
