Cowboys Considering Trading Up to Draft DB Michael Huff

If the Cowboys do indeed trade up to draft this guy, it's not a good thing. Huff is definately the best defensive back in this year's draft. He's got great football smarts, is fast, and a playmaker. I wouldn't like to see him teamed up with Roy Williams. With SS Roy Williams, FS Michael Huff, CB Terrance Newman, CB Anthony Henry, and CB Aaron Glenn, the Cowboys would have one of the best, if not the best, secondaries in the league.

I really wouldn't want him to be on the cowboys but it would make sense since the additions we got on offense and the progression of eli manning. But hey it would probably make the games that much better against the cowboys.

The Cowboys already have a very solid defense, Huff would make it comprable to ours. Ultimately, they can be had because of their inability to run the ball, and dependancy on a young(ish) oline and Drew Bledsoe.

a good game against the cowboys is Redskins 77 Cowboys 0. I want them to suffer. Dallas SUCKS and so do their fans.

He's no ST...but maybe he could teach Roy Williams how to cover.

williams and henry are slow, i wouldn't call that line the best secondary by any means. The eagles would still be better since their guys can at least run 4.4.

i agree with thatguy, both are slow and we know that glenn cannot cover moss.just watch both dallas/washington games from last year and glenn was matched up with moss the majority of the time

The cowboys just signed Marcus Coleman, who is a safety, they really should be looking at corner.

Funny, all of my friends who are Eagles fans bitch about their secondary all the time. According to them, it's the main weakspot of their D. Not saying I agree with them, but I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

I guess you can call three Pro Bowlers a weak spot. Eagles fans are tools.

lito or dawkins are better than anyone the cowboys got in their secondary... their main weakness was letting burgess go to oakland and get 16 sacks this year.

I agree with you (about the Eagles fans being tools), but I'm certainly not going to spend too much energy arguing with them when they want to rip on their own team (which is pretty much how Eagles fans spend most of their time).

As far as the pro bowl though, Lito Sheppard had no business making the pro bowl.

I don't think either team has the best secondary in the league, that goes to the Ravens in my opinion... Plus our isn't to shabby either, it's about who doesn't let the other team score points and we are good at not letting that happen
