Week 1 number 1 ranked defense. They were banged up, don't care.
Wow...Impressive

Yes the excuse of banged up is bullshit. Welcome to the NFL

Great but a little miffed that the Eagles are #3, despite our O being somewhat anemic. And it doesn't include MNF; Steelers had a good outing too.

Yeah certainly not a sympathy thing, but Arizona will be a truer test for sure. We shut down Murray like we did Wentz and im gonna say we are an 8 win team at worst. Dude is goooood. Hopkins. Gonna be a tough duo.

It's a week to week league and it's only one game. Eagles could have easily hit a few more plays as Wentz missed some open deep balls that could have changed the game.

Now if we're still first in defense several weeks in then it will mean something. But after one week, it really means nothing.

Key to game, take out Murray. Every week that should be key, take out the opposing QB in a legal way, by submission.

This coming week is ALL about to defending the air raid. That’s the key to winning

You have to contain Murray, he’s most dangerous when he’s on the move. I say pound his ass when possible.

Im glad you said something re Wentz missing guys. I didnt want to be a negative Nancy on victory Monday but Wentz dropped back 42 times and we only had 3 pass deflections. PD is a weird stat that i dont put much weight to but many times on Sunday Wentz was missing guys where our coverage wasnt great. 3PDs on 42 throws kind of supports that.

2 ints, Moreau and Moreland were both watching the QB, which allowed them to break on the ball and make great plays but the saying is "if youre watching the QB, youre watching the receiver make a catch on you". Both throws it appeared Wentz was late as well.

Eagles play calling also was suspect. A quick passing attack would have neutralized the pass rush and taken advantage of their TEs on our LBs. They targeted the TEs heavy but when youre something like 11 catches on 12 targets for Goebert, you need to keep going to that.

The Redskins deserved to win on Sunday and the D was dominant ... but it was a perfect storm that contributed to a win imo. On Moreau's momentum changing int, if the receiver had broken the route off at the sticks vs taking it 5 more steps deep = thats a catch and FD vs an int deep in their zone.

Without some sembelence of a run game to help Haskins, better coverage play from the secondary (S especially) and LBs being able to cover TEs ... its not a readily repeatable outcome.

^^ Mark Bullock. If you want a one stop shop for film breakdown on specific plays ... this is the guy.

On this play, Moreland is watching the QB, D Jax breaks off his route, Moreland slips, D Jax with the catch.

Watching the QB has to be what we are teaching our CBs. Give Kingsbury some film and Im sure he will exploit it next week ... thats if we dont switch it up.

IM not a fan of watching the QB. Opposing teams with a decent QB can just play pitch and catch. Yes occasionally on a late ball or a floater we can get the big int but more times than not, its going to be a catch and first down.

Interesting in his feed, look at the Redskins Monday/Tuesday tryout list: 5 WRs

Not a good look, especially for AGG.

I’d like us to sign Hakeem Butler.

Bunch of teams looking for DB help...

Give him the RGIII treatment. Anytime he runs nail his ass.

AGG has been dealing with a lingering concussion.

I agree 100%. The Eagles coaching definitely helped contribute to giving WFT the chance to win the game. If the Eagles focus on running the ball and shortening the game I dont think WFT wins.
