Re: Guice out for season
Have you seen CT getting super emotional talking about Guice's injury?
Not exactly sure why, but I kinda like seeing this. Feels like this team is getting united and excited to play together like never before. His reaction tells me this squad was getting close. This and the fight with the Jets kinda shows cohesion and team spirit being built. https://www.redskins.com/video/chris...tep-of-the-way

Mark Ingram is very interesting. He is a good player who will be suspended the first 4 weeks....to me, we could get him in here and up to speed to be unleashed the last 3 quarters of the season. I would trade for him. Plus...depending how he plays, I would be up for re-signing him. Thompson, Ingram, Guice would be a near perfect RB core. |

Re: Guice out for season
yeah, they will not be available. Ingram is the only one who could become available...still not a strong chance.

Re: Guice out for season
I don't even think Ingram will be available tbh. Someone mentioned Coleman from ATL, that would be a nice add.

Re: Guice out for season
There's no one out there that's going to come in and give us what Guice could have, barring a major trade, which seems unlikely.

I think if you watch the waver wire that you might find some good young talent. The Giants have a really nice young kid from Rutgers Martin that did well the other night but the're set with their top three backs.

Re: Guice out for season
Perhaps we'll be able to pick up a dependable vet as a role player for Red Zone and short yardage rushes. I'm thinking along the lines of LaGarrett Blount or Alfred Morris.
As for 1st and 2nd downs, let's just throw the ball all over the field with Chris Thompson and Marshall or Bibbs. |

Re: Guice out for season
I would rather they wait until cut day. There will be a few good players being cut. No need to get raped in a bad trade for back up DB.

Re: Guice out for season
On AP: vet min, camp body, if he shows up in the preseason whats the harm IF you want to give him one of 53. That's a big if.
