A month ago, Fowler was the 3rd or 4th ranked edge rusher in the draft depending on which site you followed. Last night, Williams wasn't even the first defensive player taken. Fowler didn't suddenly improve his skill set over the last four weeks in order to get picked above the next JJ Watt. It's not like Madden where you get to see all the tidy ratings in whole numbers and can rate and prioritize based on preference. (Strength 89, Agility 91, Smarts 95) McLovin and company have interviewed, researched, and studied all of these guys. He has consistently said he looks at intangibles like love of the game, character, work ethic, and maturity. With these components factored in, who says he didn't draft the best player available? |

Re: Nfl draft round 2 and 3 thread.
perhaps TJ Clemmings OT in 3rd if he lasts?
I doubt he will...but quite frankly 2 guys lasted to us the last 2 picks and Scotty picked folks better for the Skins vs higher ranked by the masses. T.J. Clemmings Draft Profile – NFL.com

Re: Nfl draft round 2 and 3 thread.
If this was the old Skins our drafting would be going like this:
Round 1: DE Leonard Williams USC Round 2: DE/OLB Randy Gregory Nebraska LOLOLOLOL

Re: Nfl draft round 2 and 3 thread.
I know it's not a need but if Jaelen Strong is there when we pick in Rd 3 I would take him

Re: Nfl draft round 2 and 3 thread.
Its only a steal if he isn't a head case...or if he plays on more than 3rd and long

Everyone of these players is a kid. They are all going to mature greatly over the next several years. I have too many friends that have done 180's in both directions. Football players are no different. Either way he turns out I hate him though cus he is a Cowturd. |

Re: Nfl draft round 2 and 3 thread.
Not trying to be a smartass, but how do you know who's BPA? Our rankings or any other pundits don't mean jack shit in the grand scheme of things. It matters what Scott's board says.

But I think what KI is saying is that there seem to be alot of need picks and it would be incredibly coincidental if the cards were just falling that way, and BPA kept filling needs. |
