Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Tommie Harris to the Colts is interesting, just a couple of years ago he was arguably the most sought after 4-3 DT in the league. Now he's kind of an afterthought

Injuries and poor performance can do that to a player. It's unfortunate but he's a few years removed from his heyday.

The Redskins might...might, might, might, be able to get a second round pick from Oakland for Fred Davis. If they act quick.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
This made me think about an interesting question. Who, at this day and age, would people rather trade away: Cooley or Davis? No question we have a surplus at TE. Cooley is getting up there in age and hasn't been injury-proof in recent years. And I think we could get a better price for Cooley than Davis anyways.

I'd trade Davis to Oakland for Louis Murphy

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Why in the hell would we do that? Absolutely not, Fred Davis is a beast.

You'd do it because he'll be playing for someone else next year.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Dude, for a second rounder? In a heartbeat. With all the qb's coming out next year we can use that pick to possibly move up. Best idea GTripp has ever had.......plus Logan Paulson Is no slouch.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
The alternative is Kevin Boss or Bo Scaife?

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Following a similar theme the Colts have also added Jamaal Anderson and Ernie Sims. They are going to run the Second Chance Defense.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Have to both make it backloaded for cap friendly-ness, and outbid NYG, who are also without a starting TE under contract. Doubt they get him.
Scaife would be the blandest option ever, but seems like the only other choice is a trade.
