Come on man, the NFC East should at least be more competitive this year than it was last year, and they have just as tough a schedule as we do.

Knowing the media, I suspect they don't mind losing a ton of stuff in translation if it means registering a ton of website hits.

I know it has got to be hard to walk away from something you love especially something you have been doing most of your life, but at some point I wonder if Favre isn't doing this to see what sort of attention he may get from his indecision.

Skins and Dallas will be king of the beast, just like old times. New York and Philly will be good but we'll be better.

Favre get's the maximum attention and respect in the football world and I understand because he has earned it over the many years he's played.

However, what he does each year at this time is unfair to Jackson, Rosenfels and whoever else may be there trying to prepare for the season. It must be tough on those guys not knowing what to expect until the very last minute.

You are joking, right?
I'm sure a ton of em packed up from Minnesota to go to bum **** Louisiana to watch MJ sing Billie Jean and have a huge plate of crawfish and Aunt Francines Gumbo afterwards.
If you aren't, a huge LOL.

Never really envisioned Brett Favrah as a MJ fan. Maybe he'll do a moonwalk over the big GB logo on the 50 yd line after a TD toss this year?

Well the Vikings management and ownership could also show some cojones in all this. Anybody think Allen and Shanahan would allow this?

I think this incident, as well as the Haynesworth mis-communication shows how out of touch management can be with some of these high profile athletes.

True, but I saw that at least 1000 fellas on Yahoo! dumped Favre yesterday. I wasn't one of them.

Ah well...you get the idea.

Anyhow, for clarification...I was not serious that Favre texted his buddies to come over and watch the Michael Jackson "This Is It" DVD at his home. Truth is this morning he texted Tarvaris Jackson and told him "Time to Step Up"...meaning of course, he's pumped for this Friday's nationwide opening of Step Up 3D"

Wrong state. It's Mississippi.

And it is not "bum****," it is Hattiesburg, widely regarded as the most progressive town in the state, with the best university in the state.

And, btw, crawfish and gumbo are really delicious.
