There's an article in the Post today about just that....bottom line is just that....Gibbs word=LAW!!!

Moss looks fine to me, judging by today, take away the Green Bay game, and I think the biggest problem for Moss this year is that JC and/or the playcalls are just not going to him....he's not getting the throws to him like he used to at all...not even close. How many linebackers or safeties out there can cover him going across the middle on a slant crossing route???? not too many, but for some reason that play hardly ever gets called...I don't get it.

sorry didnt read all the posts but his groin/hammy is clearly effecting his ability to do what he does best = use speed to get seperation and run under the ball.

a few years ago brunnel said you cant overthrow moss, you just throw it as far as you can and let him run under it but yesterday when campbell threw him the long ball he just didnt have the usual moss explosiveness to catch up to it.

Moss might be a bit dinged up but he did break open on what could have been a long TD and Campbell just overthrew him.

Moose was right when he said JC needs to get that ball down the middle of the field to allow Moss to run under it. JC just doesn't get enough air on his deep balls at times and he's outgunning the WRs.

He did the same thing to nearly put the nail in the coffin in the first Eagles game

For what it's worth, Doc Walker commented this morning that two years ago, that's the kind of pass Moss would have laid himself out to get to.

Clearly though, it's just example of Campbell having to work on his touch.

I didn't think that ball yesterday was catchable.

Yep, that's exactly what I thought yesterday.

JC shows nice touch at times with the longer throws, but he's still gunning it too much and missing the opportunities for the big plays.
