Dude, what are you smokin? Please spread it around!

Mathis is a LOCK. They didn't get him just to release him. He WILL be our KR/PR specialist.
The ONLY way he won't make the team is IF he has an injury to keep him out of a significant time this season.

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

A lot of people here are very smart. Others, are pretty stupid. If you know the inner workings of a true WCO, then you're the smarter ones. Two WR's, and a TE that has been compared to Cooley. WCO's NEED TWO STELLAR TE's. Versitle at that, as well.

Cooley is TE/HBack.
Davis is WR/TE

Does anyone even frigging remotely understand how easy it is going to be to manipulate EVERY NFC DEFENSIVE SCHEME this year? You will. Look at tapes of the old Bill Walsh, or Air Coryell. Seriously, stop bashing. We have two new WR's, and one of them will work out. 50/50. That means we have one new WR, and a new stud TE. We will be FINE on defense. If one of those WR's don't work out, then trade for some D. Thats just me rambling on that last statement, but the WCO is not a joke. We need more talent. ARE isn't good enough for anything other than slot. 4 man line/5 wr set/2 TE (empty backfield). What do you do with that when Davis pulls out, and runs an end around to the weak side. Thats Cooley, ARE, Moss, and whoever is playing #1 on that side fucking blocking for him..!!!? I mean, the possibilities are ENDLESS.

WE did pretty good this draft. I hope our defensive players are gamers though. We really should have used at least one second round pick for the DE or S, but we did fairly well with our picks.

well, kelly might be closer to a wr/te than davis, and the name calling and cussing really don't lend you any kind of street cred here.

I'm sure my parents would have loved it if I had the same memory skills for tests while I was in school as I tend to have for stuff on this site.

But some posts just tend to stand out and are hard to forget.

Damn...sure did miss something.

Why in the world did we sign him just to drop him. That makes no freakin sense.

See ladies and gentlemen, even I, who is right 99% of the time, can't be right 100% of the time.

I have apparently, grossly underestimated our F.O. (and not in a good way)
That was just plain stupid.

NFL Photos: 2008 NFL PLAYER'S Rookie Premiere

Photos of the recent NFL 2008 Rookie Premiere.

Has some good shots of Kelly and Thomas. I guess they are going to wear 12 and 11 respectively.

I like that they both have low numbers. I didn't want anyone coming in and having to wear Lloyd's 85 or a Rod Gardner 87. I like the clean slate of these numbers for our new wideouts.

Offensive Line Showing Real Progress

Redskins Sign Seventh-Round Pick Horton

The Redskins have signed rookie safety Chris Horton, the team announced on Thursday. Horton was the Redskins' seventh-round draft pick in last April's NFL Draft.

To make room for Horton on the roster, the Redskins released safety Justin Hamilton.

Horton, who played college football at UCLA under former Redskins defensive backs coach DeWayne Walker, was the 249th overall selection in the draft.

I have no idea why it says that the o-line is improving.
