Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
Don't get me wrong, I don't think the outcome would have changed. Just that it was obvious tonight his mobility is a huge issue in games where he'll be facing big time pressure.

Wait, I'm confused, what did Danny Smith screw up this week?

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
I honestly thought he was gonna be gone after last season. Our special teams has been shitty for quite some time now.

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
IF anyone is to blame it is the coaching staff. No real adjustments made at halftime that would allow for more than the one TD to be made. If your QB is struggling, you call plays that will help him out. Just wasn't much imagination by Kyle. I can see blitzing the MLBs on a 3rd and 21 to rush Romo's pass, but not everyone. To be honest this rivalry is borderline comical anymore. Yeah it was close, but the play was substandard by both offenses. On top of that, this rivalry doesn't mean anything anymore as the Gmen/Eagles game seems to decide the divisional crown now. Neither of these teams looks like a playoff team. Grossman's inconsistency will be an issue all year long and a .500 or 9-7 is what we are probably looking at. A good team does not play DOWN to the competition, but buries them. On the bright side, I think the Skins have a brighter future than the Cowboys, as our FO has a better rebuilding plan going on than the Boys.

This loss was an absolute dagger.
On the bright side, I'm not a sell-out, front-running, hypocritical, ass-clown who roots for a team 1,500 miles away for no apparent reason. |

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
If you dont score TD's inside the 20 then you wont win the big games.. We still fail to do so, and that is what we get.. A big loss because we couldn't finish the game..
We deserve the loss, and hopefully it's a game breaker, and we come out swinging next week

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
So we all know sandtrap isn't the classiest coming to talk crap post-game. But he's got a point. Cowboys shot themselves in the foot. All.Game. and the Skins didn't capitalize on anything.
There's no reason we should've lost this game. I'm already hunkering down for the all the crow I'm gonna have to eat at work from Cowboys fans. *Sigh*

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
This is no big loss. As long as we can split the division then the team is right where I figured the Skins would be. We play the Rams this week, hopefully with a win making us 3-1 going into the bye. Prior to the season starting I figured this game would be a loss because they play us close and it was in their house. This same game in Washington would be a win. The footing was bad the whole first half which would not be a problem at FedEx. The crowd in DC would have worked in the Skins favour.

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
Somethings never change. At that something is Rex Grossman. He is addicted to turning the ball over. He loves it. Please trade into the top 10 and get either Luck or Landry!
Im so tired of never having a qb. F BOMB F BOMB F BOMB F BOMB. Grossman even saw the guy coming and still decided to carry the ball in one arm, on the inside hand. I learned when i was 7 to carry the ball in the outside arm. Ps I also liked Hasletts punt block formation on 3rd and 21. WTF was that???? I have never seen that before in my life. They have Dez Bryant the guy is huge! You have coverage over the top and make someone else make the play. It was a fu**ing gift wrapped present. Then Hall has to facemask too. Worst loss I have seen in any sport in a long time. Last edited by sdskinsfan2001; 09-27-2011 at 01:09 AM. |

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread
Another botched hold/block field goal. it's ALWAYS something. Holding flags negating TDs, blocked field goals (2 in 2 weeks) and it's not just THIS game. It's been horrible for a couple years now.
