That last play was absolute gold. Jimmie Ward nailed him before his feet hit the ground. Dallas losing is an annual tradition and one I'll never get tired of.

Nice, that's some Jim Zorn shit right there. Cowboy fans can go crawl back into the shit holes they came out of. DFW area was almost unbearable this week.

He's not a very good Center either.

You guys and your build around Howell bullshit.
Ok maybe he is the guy, there is a high likelyhood that he isn’t.

Look at Dallas. Dak dazzled for a few games and got a huge contract. Dak also lost this game. You can’t compete without elite QB play. The ceiling has to be higher than Howell.

Re: 2023 Divisional Round Thread

I don't think my view has changed much after this weekend. I can still see a 49ers v Bengals SB. But that depends on Shanahan resetting Purdy and the Bengals D doing to the Chiefs what they did to the Bills. I'm not convinced about either at this point (though Mahomes injury might be a big factor). But that's what makes the games interesting.

I said to a friend about a month ago when discussing the potential SB match up, the Bills will likely be there if they fix their D. They didn't. I thought the 49ers would stumble after losing 2 QBs. They didn't. I thought the Eagles would nose dive after a few losses and relying on Hurts. They didn't. I thought the Chiefs would, well, be the Chiefs (never know quite what you'll get). They did. I thought (well hoped) the Cowboys would be the Cowboys. They did.

For me the NFL is the only reason to love the longest month of the year😁

How do you know after 1 game what a players ceiling is? … what is Brock Purdy ceiling he was last guy drafted( so that blows draft position =ceiling out of water) .. I would like to know who you think is the answer at QB ..what was Hurts ceiling his first year ? He was not good ..where would Brock Purdy be drafted now ?? Watching him play I would take him in first round .. He is allready better than a lot of First round can’t miss players .. In fact right now I would try and Trade For Purdy ..

Brock plays on a offense with a ton of talent and with a genius of a offensive minded coach. Put Brock on this team he be a lot different. Plus Brock is game managing not making mistakes that is what is making him good, if the 9ers get in a situation where they are down big and he has to start slinging it, its going be a different story.

Howell is the penciled in starter because we have no other QBs on the 2023 roster.

I don't think anyone is against SH, I just think we are saying "awesome that was one good game against a Dallas team clearly looking to the playoffs the following week". What I am against and i believe others too is thinking that QB1 need box is checked off, it is clearly not. SH has a ton to prove.
