Yup. Doubt ANYONE that comes here will give us a top-10 defense next year, simply because of lack of talent. Fangio defenses have sucked in the past when he didn't have the talent. I'd bet Wade would have the highest chance of making lemonade from lemons. Anyway, hope SMcC gives him the talent he needs, but it's too much to replace in one draft/FA. Of note, the best defense is a good offense and if Griffin performs it would make everyone look better.

From 2004-2008 he was DC in Arizona and in 2009 in KC. His defenses were middle-of-the-road. Since 2009 he has been in the college ranks.

I would like us to at least interview Schawrtz as well. I know he was on the radar but I haven't heard us being linked to him since Rex got the job in buffalo.
