I don't think most Eagles fans thought they were going to get this far to be honest with you.

My philly buddies had no real expectations for this year, as the year wore on they got a lot more excited and into it.

What I like so much about Luck is nothing seems to bother the guy. He threw a couple of picks, all the good ones do, Bress threw some too. He could've got down but he just took the game over and made play after play after play. That's a true sign of a great QB. How do you respond when the chips are down?

And also...TY Hilton is becoming a true number one. He just abused KC's secondary.

We're you watching the games? Passing won the Colts game. Not read option plays. We need RG3 to do exactly what Andrew Luck did yesterday, and do it in the playoffs. That's what we need him to be. I'm fine with mixing in zone and read option here and there, but he needs to be able to do it with his brain and arm, not his legs.

As far as Brady, they've had one of the longest runs of winning the NFL has ever seen. They may not have won it all since 04, but they sure do knock on the door every single year. W/out Brady's year in and year out consistent play, they're not doing that. We may all think they're arrogant and all but their record speaks for itself.

New Orleans once again played terrible on the road and the Eagles couldnt take advantage. Bottomline, Eagles arent that good and it showed last night.

I want a defensive front line like the Saints, they were great again last night. Ive watched the Saints play alot over the last month and Curtis Lofton at Linebacker is playing some amazing football, every game he has 3-4 big plays. I have zero clue why Atlanta let him go.

Listen, Peyton owns the single season TD and yards records. He will have 5 MVP trophies after this year, and will most likely break the all time record in yardage.

No offense, but Tom Brady isn't in the same league as Peyton Manning in terms of overall QB.

Rodney Harrison when asked......."who is the best QB you've had to play against.......his answer was emphatically Peyton Manning". Directly after, it was brought up about Brady, and he said....."no, I've played against Tom Brady as well, and it's still Peyton Manning."

Just fucking stop with this bullshit. Peyton is the best QB to have played the game by a long shot, and I've seen QBs since Terry Bradshaw. Tom is good, he's really good, but it takes more than just one man to win it all in the NFL. Ask Dan Marino.

Better to have the #1 offense or #1 defense? : nfl

I want you to look at the PPG allowed defensive stats ranking on the Pats teams that won the SB. (6th, 1st, 2nd)
So Brady is in the plYoffs every year and that's considered "failures?" ...lol. If you don't think Brady is a truly great QB then I'm not sure what you've been watching. No disrespect to Manning but he's played with great wr's his entire career. Brady won 3 sb's with Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Patton, David Givens...when he had a truly great WR on the outside he exploded for 50 td's. Yeah he played on teams with good D's but it's not like he was Trent Dilfer out there. Lol.

That offense hasnt been right for awhile, and it had zero to do with the Eagles defense. I like Saints were able to run the ball, but they should have because Philly sux. Brees had some really bad throws, couple turnovers.

We must not know the same Eagles fans. Maybe it's just my annoying shit-talking coworker that has corrupted my view, but damn if I'm not going to enjoy work next week. Admittedly, it hasn't been as bad this year as it has in years past though.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style

Lucks pretty unbelievable.I'm sorry to all the RG3 lovers out there,I dont believe RG3 will ever be as good as Luck.RG3 had his one yr to shine above Luck and that will most likely be it,his knee and Shanahan are to thank for that.Luck was considered the better qb coming out of college, thats why he went # 1,and I think he's proven worthy of the pick.
Before you jump my shit,I'm not a RG3 hater,I just think Lucks a better qb and always will be.RG3 has a lot of catching up to do to get to where Luck is.
Im just pissed at this whole situation, everybodys fawning all over Luck and its deserved, but I cant help thinking it would be different if Shanahan would have just pulled RG3 out the fking game when everyone with eyes could see it was time to get him the fock out.Shanny admits he made a mistake now, yeah well thanks a lot Mike, dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out you mfer

I think you just decided to overlook the fact that I said Tom is good, very good. The "failures" are the games lost.

No disrespect, playing with a top defense on your team is better than playing with top receivers. Did you not listen to their owner when he fired Polian? He specifically talked about how they ignored defense during Peyton's era and wanted to be more balanced. Balanced is going to win on a consistent basis, and into the playoffs.

Let's wait to see which QB wins it all. Luck won wild card week. Point is not proven yet. Wait til the Lombardi trophy goes to a running QB this year.
