^^ It's a nickname of a nickname (FatAl Bert) that bears no relation to anything. Yes. I too vote "Most Moronic Nickname"
It's like renaming SmootSmack "The Administrator Formerly Known As Smootsmack" and then calling him by the acronym "TAFKAS".

When you couple the true facts with all the erroneous media reports, it's not difficult to understand why there has been so many varying opinions. Has Haynesworth's attitude in reference to this whole ordeal been less than desireable (maybe) but there's no one side that should be destined to accept all the blame. There could have been just a little more give and take on the part of both parties and the situation could have turned out much different. |

Very good two part article on AH. In the 2nd part he talks some about last year, and about the 3-4, and what he and Haslett have talked about. It's not earth shattering, but it is the most cohesive take on AH's point of view I have seen.

Beyond the Athlete: Albert Haynesworth Part II - Beyond The Athlete - Back Sports Page “I think it’s going to be exciting. He’s a very experienced coach, he knows how to win and he knows how to build a team. I’m excited about it. I’m glad he’s our coach. He was definitely the best one out there. I’m just ready to get back to work and see what he brings to the table.” “The players, I think we have the pieces there. We just need a puzzle master to put it together. I don’t think we need a whole lot more changes. Maybe a couple more tweaks here and there. Right now I’m satisfied with the talent that we have.” "I talked to Jim Haslett and he plans on using me like they did with the Titans. He’s talked to a couple of Titans coaches and former Titans coaches and that’s what he said he’s planning on doing. Just kind of letting me loose and letting me play the game.” “At first I was a little iffy to it because I’ve never played in the 3-4. I don’t have a clue to how it’s really played. But then I talked to him a little bit and he plans on just playing me in the middle a little bit and at end. I guess I’ll just move around and just wreak havoc; so as long as we’re doing that and I’m not just at one position, I’m fine, I’m fine with it.” This all sounds quite familiar

nice to hear that. I hope its true. But I disagree about having all the pieces, not that he is gonna say, "we dont have the personnel to implement the system." tho........

Did Extreme Skins just have a membership purge or a mass banning? Seem to be several non level headed posters joining recently.

Does it even qualify as a nickname if it doesn't make any sense?

Re: Haynesworth might learn a few things about Shanahan from Plummer
I agree, AH has from day one here said he wants to be known as the best DT, but with his own thoughts about it. I hope Haslett works with him and all of our talent that we have, and if so, it could be very good for us!

Re: Haynesworth might learn a few things about Shanahan from Plummer
nothing in the article makes me doubt that we're actively trying to trade haynesworth.

Yeah I honestly dont mind Fatal Bert missing workouts. As long as he is on the field he helps our team improve.
