Re: Coronavirus (political)
^All the vaccines are effective against the delta variant, hospitalizations are low.
Everyone can get a vaccine who wants one without any excuses. Go panic and hide in your house if you want. Being big mad a big Ron for the delta v is a brainworm take and laughable. You must think the government should be forcing vaccines on everyone….lol not gonna happen You are anti science if you call for lockdowns and mask wearing for the vaccinated. Literally no reason for either.

I wear my mask half the time now .. I feel like im in limbo and frozen with indecision. Is the risk of getting hospitlized after being vaccinated small? Yes Does wearing a mask and social distancing help reduce? Yes Is it a huge inconvenience to go back to covid protocols for me? not really but ive gone to a couple movies, would like to see some more. Gone to a few sit down expensive dinners, would like to do that more. I dont think there is a clear one answer for all on this. At this point, the vaccine is available, wear your mask if you want .. personal choice at this point imo. --- good news - delta variant seems to be changing peoples opinions in Florida and the south as they are now vaxxing above the national rate. |

But you are right, it’s a choice. That’s what this country is about, choice. The science is clear, vaccinated are safe against the delta variant. We are not mask mandating for the vaccinated or locking down anymore, that’s anti-science. I haven’t seen the data for increases in vaccinations, but it’s a great thing. Breaking down the data by demographics…the young folks have let us down again per the usual. Hopefully the delta will get them to be vaccinated.

Coronavirus (political)
Florida and Texas. Shocker.
Certainly like Chico said younger people are not helping. I give them a slight pass because they were told they weren’t susceptible for so long. At this point though go get a fuckin shot. Here is where Ill make it political, because after all this is the coronavirus political thread. Forget the media, this board, or any study out there - not that they cant be truthful but just based on my own personal experience here in Jersey… Every single person I talk to that says things like “fuck that ill never get the shot “ and than laughs like it is a joke are the same people who will still tell me Trump won the election. It is the misinformation crew. Im glad the Republican leaders are finally pleading with their constituents to get the shot but where the hell were you 6-10 months ago? They were still holding the economy over health. Still not seeing the forest through the trees. Still not realizing that the quickest way back to a good economy was by protecting ourselves from the virus instead of climbing the walls in Trumps echo chamber thinking this thing was going to “magically disappear “. There is zero doubt in my mind that that motherfuckers bullshit lies are the main reason (not only reason because there were a small group of anti vaxx morons that were always there) that this virus still has us by the nut sack. There is no way that 40 percent of Americans are anti vaxxers maybe 10 percent. The rest are still living in Trumps echo chamber and are too fucking ignorant to realize he has the vaccine and was lying just for his own political welfare - aka - the economy. Both New York and Los Angeles are going to mandate their civil service get vaccinated. Not a lot of GOP in that population segment and if a mandate is required, then you have a lot of liberal holdouts. Furthermore, 43% of Chicago, 25% of San Francisco, 30% of Los Angeles, and 37% of Philadelphia are not vaccinated. These are not GOP strongholds by any measure. And that is a lot of people. There are more examples (that pesky but progressive NFL .... ). I have never had much good to say about Trump. Much less about those who castigate him while behaving much like him. |

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Last night on CNN, Alisyn Camerota and Victor Blackwell attempted to browbeat a St. Louis County mayor regarding his opposition to new mask mandates. She said, "People are dying in St. Louis County."
Here is the from NYT tracker, covid cases data for St Louis County: July 26th: zero deaths reported. Rolling 7 day average: 1 Folks the retards are trying to panic people again because of ratings period. CNN ratings have been off a cliff…nobody is watch. None. This is what they are trying to sell..lies

This shit doesn't help! https://news.yahoo.com/evangelical-p...101435205.html Jaclyn Peiser Tue, July 27, 2021, 6:14 AM·4 min read Since the early months of the coronavirus pandemic, Greg Locke, the pastor at a Nashville-area church, has repeatedly called covid a hoax, undermined emergency mandates and refused to comply with guidance from public health officials. This week, Locke took his defiance a step further, making a sharp warning regarding mask-wearing. Subscribe to The Post Most newsletter for the most important and interesting stories from The Washington Post. If "you start showing up [with] all these masks and all this nonsense, I will ask you to leave," Locke, 45, told scores of Global Vision Bible Church parishioners during his sermon on Sunday. His statement was followed by cheers and applause. "I am not playing these Democrat games up in this church," he added. Global Vision Bible Church did not immediately respond to The Washington Post's request for comment. Locke's fiery five-minute diatribe, in which he also denied the existence of the delta variant, comes as vaccination rates in his home state slow and infection rates climb. So far, about 44 percent of Tennesseans have received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to The Post's vaccine tracker, making it among the states with the lowest rate. The state recently reported that 98 percent of people who died of covid and 97 percent of covid hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated.

1. Recording deaths due to covid lag a few weeks behind ... so of course there wont be any recorded covid deaths yesterday. Give it a few weeks for the "death counts" to be accurate. 2. 295 new cases per day now, 155% increase from 2 weeks ago 3. 366 hospitalizations for July 16-22, up from a weekly low of 210 for the week of June 18 4. 16 deaths last 2 weeks .. you have to give "death counts" time to go through the process of being recorded and reported https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...vid-cases.html ------------ St Louis, like many places, is clearly seeing a covid surge. Im curious to see the death total for July 26 a month from now. Who knows, maybe its 0 .. or perhaps 2-4. |

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Glad we agree the rhetoric doesn’t match the facts. It’s completely irresponsible to lie people are dying at any alarming rate

Re: Coronavirus (political)
A major problem and failure so far of the administration in fighting vaccine hesitancy is getting full FDA approval of the vaccines.
The previous administration had the vaccine made in 7 months for emergency approval yet we are over 6 months in Biden administration and we are still waiting for full approval? The full approval would go far
