im not saying they have caught on already, but having them on the feild and actually having playing time will help in their development to learn this offense

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08
I felt the game tonight was a poor excuse for a NFL game. Other then the Giants first drive this game reminded me of a high school football game. I know there will be growing pains as we all saw tonight but it's still frustrating as hell.
Bad managing of the clock, we didn't seem to pass enough (wondering if Campbell is truly trusted yet), Campbell holds the ball way to long, seemed like every pass completion was on Smoot. Again it's the first game and a new coach and new offense. Hopefully, things will get better. I agree completely. |

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08
why? i havent joined the colt bandwagon like some other people, but if zorn would have stuck him in at some point in the second half I wouldnt have been unhappy with the descision, unlike every other frickin one he made tonite

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08
Zorn can stick Colt when we're 0-4, ok? In the second half JC played better when the o-line gave him time and when the WRs weren't dropping the ball. That bomb that Moss missed was partly Moss' fault b/c he stopped. Moss also dropped a short pass, and when JC had time to pass there were no receivers open. I'm not saying JC was perfect, but he adjusted in the second half. Unfortunately we were behind and our 2:00 minute drill play calling sucks. The team needs to get its act together, but we shouldn't throw in the towel, that's just stupid.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08
JC and Carlos Rogers need to get on the same f@cking bus out of town! I swear if I keep hearing all the JC and Rogers excuses I might just JUMP OFF A FUCKIN BRIDGE!
Second - our O line and D line need to improve, and I think it was a BAD idea to have Taylor out there not 100% Third – Coach your team, Zorn. Don’t run the damn ball over and over when it doesn’t work, even if Portis tells you to!!! Landry - THANK YOU for trying to save the game and make plays. Cooley - sorry dude.. drop your love for JC.. he's a mess. Moss - nice try, catch the ball EVERY TIME, even if it's not a good throw. .. We suck.. and I'm going to bed... wake me when Collins is QB again. Last edited by hesscl34; 09-04-2008 at 11:55 PM. |

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08
a loss hurts, and i think campbell bears the burden for the offense, he is the QB, BUT for a first regular season game under Zorn, i think it was ok. the defense held even after smoot game out, Campbell was over 50%, and we have 15 games left to go

QB out there right now and tell me how much better he is DURING GAME TIME, and screw the f*cking numbers. That first throw Portis was hanging there middle field wide open and he never even looked, not once did he turn his head.. he was just lookin for Moss.. never even turned left.. and I saw it all night long. Last drive Randal El was WIDE open and he chose to throw deep to moss and Randal El had a straight shot into th endzone. He didn't even look. If I were Zorn I'd be beating my head against a wall trying to figure out how the hell to bench his ass and now get fired.. what a f*cking mess! OK.. now I'm going to bed.. God Help the Skins! |
