Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
Jamaal Charles' injury was huge for the Colts. But Knile Davis went in and filled in beautifully...until he got injured. Add in Flowers and Avery getting injured, and you come up with the Chiefs getting robbed. If Kansas City would've stayed healthy, they would have easily won.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
The Chiefs D let them down, i wasnt following to closely to the game though. i heard one caller complain about the playing calling when they were up, complained about not running the ball enough. But the first caller was classic and blamed the loss on Alex Smith, I thought he played very well considering he lost Charles and Avery.

Ummm...no. Did Charles or any of those offensive players give up 35 points in 24 minutes? Do tell. That game was entirely lost by that defense. No idea what their defensive coordinator was thinking. He had one guy to cover the whole game and allowed him to continue to burn them. Didn't really blitz much either. That guy should walk back to KC.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
Interesting .... saw a lot of RG3 type plays today. Saw the read option by smith and Luck. Saw Drew Breez operating out of the pistol. People say Rg3 can only run a college offense. I think RG3 is an innovative QB. Let's see which type QB plays win it all this year. Brady hasn't won since Belicheck cheated. Peyton only got one.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
And who was the great QB for the Bears, also the coach? The great Lovie Smith and Rex show.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
Apparently you missed two of the Super Bowls won by Tom Brady. Needless to say, he didn't play good at all.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
He only got there in the first place because Brady's pathetic receivers dropped passes anyone on this board could catch. They were getting smoked in their own house.

Re: Around the NFL...Wildcard Weekend Style
He took his team to 2 more and it took a Wes Welker drop and 2 of the most ridiculous catches of all time given up by the pats D for him to lose those games. 5 Super Bowls and 3 wins can't be reputed. It's not like Belichick won anything before Brady.

I love how everybody keeps coming up with excuses for Tom's failures, but when it's Peyton's games.....IT'S ALL HIS FAULT!! Listen, Peyton owns the single season TD and yards records. He will have 5 MVP trophies after this year, and will most likely break the all time record in yardage. No offense, but Tom Brady isn't in the same league as Peyton Manning in terms of overall QB. Rodney Harrison when asked......."who is the best QB you've had to play against.......his answer was emphatically Peyton Manning". Directly after, it was brought up about Brady, and he said....."no, I've played against Tom Brady as well, and it's still Peyton Manning." Just fucking stop with this bullshit. Peyton is the best QB to have played the game by a long shot, and I've seen QBs since Terry Bradshaw. Tom is good, he's really good, but it takes more than just one man to win it all in the NFL. Ask Dan Marino. Better to have the #1 offense or #1 defense? : nfl I want you to look at the PPG allowed defensive stats ranking on the Pats teams that won the SB. (6th, 1st, 2nd)

And Andrew Luck will break Peyton's records.
