Can you imagine seeing that peeking in the door during the night to check on curfew?

That's it! I've wanted to place his teeth. Of course they're rat teeth. Brilliant!

Meh, anything is better than Zorn but I'm not totally sold on Shanahan. You just have to wonder if he is capable of winning especially after 3 consecutive mediocre seasons. God help us all.

I still don't understand the love for Weiss and Clausen. I'm so glad this nightmare didn't happen (hope to god we don't draft this guy). Clausen is way overrated and Weiss is a joke thats why they ran his ass out of South Bend.

Seriously, speaking of arrogance (see CP vs. JC thread), Charlie Weiss' ego is bigger than his waistline which is saying something. And my only problem with Clausen is that, for some reason, I think he reeks of major bust and I just don't see him being successful in this league...

Weiss is probably going to end in Chicago as their OC.

I watch college football like it's my job and I'm telling you this kid he's not that good. He oozes of bust.

Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins

Why the hell is Snyder always having these guys spend the night at his house. I'm sick of hearing these stories about these coaches going to his house after a night of dinner. Sounds like a honeymoon night after these guys 'consummate' their relationship by signing the dotted line of their contract.

Just grosses me out. Shanny is up $7M, I think he can afford the penthouse suite at the Four Seasons in downtown DC.

I'm not comforted by the fact Shanny is literally getting into Snyder's bed tonight after being wined & dined & $6.9'ed.

I'm sure that it's somewhat typical; if not, who cares? People stay at the White House and other places instead of hotels too.

Maybe they wanna have a few drinks and talk about where to get started.

lol sounds good

another thing about shanahan staying at a hotel... too much exposure to the press, public, etc beforehand

staying with snyder ensures that he won't be pestered repeatedly and will have a direct route to Redskins Park in the morning

Did you guys catch the $6.9'ed? : ) DS loves doing that...just 69ing people.

Too buddy-buddy for me. I want our coach to have a Marty like approach if actual change is to take place.

My very insightful Peruvian manager use to tell me about our overbearing boss, "Never feed the fox an egg, because he will come back to you looking for more eggs later"

...Having lived in the US all my life I think the literal point was more applicable to rural Peru but I'm pretty sure it means don't become personal friends with your boss as he will expect friendly favors from your professional relationship.

Anyway, I believe that is good advice to heed when in a position of authority and when dealing with someone like Snyder. Shanny has to thwart that precedence of owner friendship if he's to bring about real change...Bruce Allen too.

Bwhaaaaa. Bada Bing.

No I think it's more that they are good friends. More to the point that they probably plan to get up early tomorrow and ride together into Redskins Park for an official announcement in the morning vs. the driver having to drive all over town to pick everyone up and get them there on time.

You really do get riled up about the most inane things don't you? It's not like Snyder lives in a 2 bedroom apartment you know
