re: The D. Hall incident
I see you conveniently avoided the article that actually breaks down the play rather than writers making commentary based on what they saw on highlight shows (which most "journalists" do these days since they can only be at one game). Care to weigh in on that article/breakdown?

Re: The D. Hall incident
anyone hear lavar today? when he goes on thoose rants he gets me fired up, i would love to see him have some part in consulting with the team, or just be the teams official hype man, that said i read the breakdown on dcsportsbog and i just watched it a couple of times and hall was over there when the play ended and granted he probably said something, he isn't really know for being quite, it looks like the atl strength coach might have been a huge instigator in the fight and mike smith should be fined ALOT he is a hc and he should have been calming everything down instead of starting more s, and seriously tryon is the first guy to help d hall, tryon? c'mon man, and while i do hate on fat albert a lot when he showed up he pushed that one guy and the whole atl team and staff took three steps back, he is on big mother f-er he was about a fott taller than everyone else in the skirmish

Mike Smith is a damn liar too.. saying he didn't know it was Hall. He could def see the back of Hall's jersey and I'm sure he knows what he looks like face to face as well. If nothing else, from watching tape on the Skins he'd recognize the number. If he didn't know it was Hall, he wouldn't have been up in his face since Hall wasn't involved. |

Re: The D. Hall incident
Hall should spend more time concentrating about things happening on the field. He should have NEVER been on that sideline. As others have said he seeks drama and feeds his own agenda above the team. Fire him.

Re: The D. Hall incident
Although after seeing the game and the replay of the event, it appears that Mike Smith was way out of line. He should have never been involved to begin with. Wasn't it Roger Goodell who said he would hold "coaches and executives to a higher standard." I am curious to see how serious he was with that statement. Smith should be held accountable to a certain degree.
But the devils advocate in me also thinks that the incident would never have gotten that much out of hand if Hall would have stayed away from the sideline. He really had no business running in there like that. Yes, you can argue that Hall was "watching out for his team mate", trying to pull him out of there. But at the end of the day, if anything would have happened to Landry after that hit, it would be the leagues repsonsibility, not Halls. When Hall charged into that sideline, that was the match, Landrys hit was the kerosene. Keep those 2 apart, there is no fire. |

Re: The D. Hall incident
Hall was chasing down the play and ended up on the sideline, it's not like he just ran over there at some random time in the game.

Re: The D. Hall incident
Really? So he shouldn't have been running towards the QB with the ball?

Re: The D. Hall incident
oh please. so we can't call out our own guys when they act like little bitches? i don't blame smith cause he was defending his own guy. if that happened to jc and zorn grabbed another teams player and talked some shit everyone would be on zorn's jock.

I am by no means defending Hall, and I'm sure he is to be blame with what happened as well. What upsets me is that everyone, including Redskins fans, like to pretend that the ATL bench was completely innocent. For all I care, the league can fine and/or suspend Hall, but Mike Smith and the other coach that was involved in the incident should be fined and/or suspended.

Re: The D. Hall incident
I'm sure when they all started pushing most players thought it would be done as fast as it started. When it continued the team came to help him out and then the D line came running in to help Hall. This has nothing to do with our locker room.

Re: The D. Hall incident
Once the incident starting getting ugly our guys went over. I agree this whole idea that our guys "didn't care" is garbage.
