There are far more intelligent FOOTBALL fans here than any other site I have been too.

We love the Skins, but we also love the game. I would also say the cowboys currently look a lot better than Green Bay right now. I was most impressed with the Chicago win and think if they win over New England, that would remove all questions about who is the best in the NFC.

When Dallas played the Giants they were 0-0 and when they played the Bears they were 1-1 and only the Dolphins and Rams had losing records of 0-1 and 0-3 respectively. If the Giants, Dolphins, Bears, and Rams (hypothetically) win their next 3 or 4 games, how is that going helping Dallas?

LOL, they have the same schedule as the Redskins, Giants, and Eagles except for two games I believe. All the Cowboys fans, before the Giants game, were saying that the Redskins have an easy schedule and could go 5-0. Given that the Redskins play at NE and Dallas plays them at home, but you still have to play the game.

That's the bottom line, you have to play the game. Three weeks ago, many of us here probably would have thought the Lions were pushovers, not so now. These boys are going to throwing the ball left and right.

Amen,

Any given sunday....heck the Browns could win against Baltimore (I hate Clevland, now that Dallas has their pick, they are winning games).

I don't think the Redskins are worried about them throwing, the D is much better now. The problem is can the offense socre enough points to win the game.

Seattle. Tampa. Probably us. Maybe even GB, idk.

Dallas' offense is top notch. I missed bad on my projection of them. However, that defense is what we thought they were.

Their most impressive victory was probably their ten point home win over the Giants. Sorry, our eight point victory over Philadelphia is more impressive.

I must admit that at the time, I was incredibly impressed with their victory over the Bears. However, until the Bears find their running game, they aren't going to beat anyone now.

Dallas can have their five and oh start, and then we can wait and watch while New England waxes them in two weeks.

You obviously dont understand something, big numbers doesnt always equal superbowl wins. Roethlisberger never throws for a ton of TD or yards, but guess what hes got a superbowl ring, Dan Marino put up huge numbers and after today(thanks to Brett Favre) really has nothing to show for it, big numbers mean nothing if you cant hold the ball on a field goal attempt when your team needs you the most, give Romo some more games before you jump on his crotch, he was pretty bad in the games leading up to the playoffs last year, so give it some time.
Are you saying Roethlisberger is better than Marino?

You sir have earned your punch in the face.

Wasn't New York a much better team, defensively especially, when they beat us as opposed to when Dallas put up a 45 spot on them?

Yes, Dallas' offense is better than ours, but if New York had been as awful against the run and pass in Week 3 as they were in Week 1, that game probably wouldn't have been close.

I said that Dallas' win over the Bears in Chicago was really freakin impressive, but as it gets farther in the rear view mirror, it's already starting to look like a game they should have won.

I think the Giants will beat the Cowboys the next time they play. With all the pub Romo is getting, I think a lot of people are underrating the job Eli has been doing. Hell, I think a lot of people on here are underrating Eli...and he just put together a hell of a game on our home field to beat us.

I'm not saying the Cowboys are terrible, but they have yet to be really tested when their opponents are a combined 3-13. Yes, they have won the games they are supposed to win, which is an excellent start and certainly something the Skins haven't managed to do. But before we hand over the Lombardi trophy and crown Dallas the next dynasty, let's wait until they play a competitive football team.

They do have one hell of a weak schedule this season and I would say will be a playoff contender for sure. Besides the always hard to predict NFC East matchups, the only other quality team they play is NE in week 6.

we basically have the same schedule as they do. Funny how our schedule is interprited as tough on this site.

As Giggity pointed out, they could conceivably start the season out by going 6-1 or even 7-0 before their bye week. If the NFC is really filled with so many crap teams then starting out in that fashion will surely put them at the top of the conference.
Granted, just because they start out hot it doesn't mean that they'll end the season on the same kind of tear, but I just don't get how you can discount 4 straight beat downs. Are you going to tell me the Pats aren't really that good because so far they've only beat the Jets, Chargers (the Norv-version), and the Bills?
What's more important: Who they beat or How they beat them? I'd have to say it's how they beat them.

(obviously the injury bug can strike and a team can quickly crash back to Earth, rendering all this moot)
I don't know. If the COWBOYS had played that schedule I'd feel a lot more certain how for-real they are. I would have loved to have seen them versus the Jets and Chargers.

Yeah me too, when Betts got tripped up on 4th and goal! Right after the Giants went on a 24-0 run in the second half.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys do look for real. Their offense is somewhat scary, the way its can score so quickly. The Redskins better start scoring in the 20s and 30s to hang with the Cowboys, Packers and Patriots.

Eli is really playing some good football right now. No question about that. Another guy that impresses me is Garcia. He's not flashy and he won't blow you away with stats. But all he seems to do is get the job done.

To me if you can win on the road against the NFC Champs then that is very impressive. Chi. is still a good team. Plus they are getting killed by injuries. It will be interesting to see how they will address the qb situation next year.

The thing is they don't even have Glenn and they are still putting up alot of points.

Re: Vomiting while I type this, but...

Dallas is getting it done right now, I'm not trying to take anything away from them, but we're 4 games in. Anything can happen between now and week 17, that goes for the other teams that everyone is drooling over including the Patriots. There's just too much football to go to get too excited over anyone.
