Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
I'm predicting we wear it on Thanksgiving vs. Dallas and also against the Steelers wearing their own 80th uniforms.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
I just told you two posts above yours. That wasn't a prediction, it is confirmed barring a last-minute change of mind.
No burgundy pants this season. I wish we'd cut the white pants for the burgundy, but I do like wearing the gold every week. I hate the all-white look.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
my ranks for our standard uniforms
1. burgundy jersey / gold pants 2. burgundy jersey / white pants 3. white jersey / gold pants 4. white jersey / burgundy pants 5. white jersey / white pants 6. burgundy jersey / burgundy pants (hate this look, glad i won't see it this season) ^ monkeydad, good call on the steelers, i think i remember you calling that awhile back. that will be a really cool game if it unfolds that way.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
It's a no-brainer. We're both celebrating our 80ths this year.
It will be a cool-looking game, even though the Steelers will look like escaped convicts. We've worn throwbacks vs. Dallas before too so I expect them to wear their usual Thanksgiving day alternate "fauxback" with the white helmets and stars on the shoulders vs. our throwbacks. We've also played one of those rare color vs. color match-ups with Dallas before that can only be allowed when throwbacks are involved.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
I personally love the all burgundy look. I think it looks great with our helmets, and would really look cool with the new shoes and gloves.
RG3 would look like a stud in all burgandy, head to toe with his little white sleeve. I don't understand how someone can NOT like the all burgundy. Its our primary color for christs sake. I know I am one of the few, but I just can't, either can't or refuse to, get used to the piss stained look yellow pants. Its too deep and bright (if both of those are possible at the same time) of a shade of yellow in my opinion. I would prefer the yellow (rather gold) pants that lavar is wearing in the above post rather than the bbright yellow ones we currently don. I know they (yellow pants) are popular, I just can't get used to them. I think they look tacky. (maybe cheesy is a better word there) |

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
It wasn't the uniforms. It was Sean.
