I honestly believe that Thomas could be a legit number one TE. I don't know where he stands with route running, but I don't remember him dropping passes, he seems to catch everything thrown his way, he is a willing/effective blocker. Not to mention he is big, athletic, and fast. 6'6", 250+, 4.6-40... Looking forward to seeing him continue to grow.

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread

I was soooooo HAPPY that we knocked off the Steelers in their own stadium!!!

I have just seen so many Monday night games in the last 20 years where this team has CRAPPED OUT and embarrassed themselves on National tv! Not just lose but lose big!!

Another major irritant has been seeing 30, 000 Steelers fans FLOOD FedEx field and essentially make it a home game with their
F——ing yellow towels. I remember when Snyder tried to replicate the “terrible towel” idea, but they could only get WHITE towels versus Burgundy and/or gold. The white towel idea didn’t even last more than one game.

Finally, I am excited because this team, still missing some talent in many positions, has been able to come back. Reverse a game against an ELITE TEAM mostly using guts and determination. The WFT Come back against a team when the first half was largely a blowout. INCREDIBLY - The defense stopped 4 plays inside the three yard line.

It wasn’t a perfect win - I thank the Pittsburgh receivers who dropped 6 passes. But we had some drop also - yeah, that means you Steve Sims!

I hope Gibson can come back because he is just an outstanding component of this offense. Cam Sims wins the game ball because of three critical pass catches for large gains - including one short pass that he YACed into a big gain. Both McKissic and Cam Sims filled the hole of left by Gibson’s hurt toe and them double-teaming Mc Laurie into oblivion.

Yeah, this game was freaking great! Keep it going!!

I'm not sure about that, this team has turned a corner

I feel like I saw a dear old friend I haven’t seen in 30 years last night. Getting punched in the mouth and coming out in the second half pissed off instead of afraid. That was special. This fan base needed that. This team is onto something. We are going to eat Nick fucking Mullens for lunch next week.

That 2nd half gave me life for this organization again.. I am now 100% ALL IN on this regime, the culture change is in full effect folks. Teams from the past 20 years would have caved and got beat by 3 tds last night. Not this regime

I went to bed last night watching highlights a few times. Been a long time before doing that.

Great signature win, and I think we have earned the right to throw around the, "P," word.

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread

Let me take sometime to praise the defense and JDR.

What a great game plan...they took blueprint from Baltimore to crowd dline especially on 3rd downs, and bring guys and drop guys into short zones to stop short passing game.

Also, they didn’t sack Ben but mixed it up with choosing to bring pressure or stand back and get hands up to bat balls.

Tackling was good enough as well.

Goal line stand was epic

Monday night. Undefeated team. Their house. Down 14-0. Lose one of our best playmakers. Countless bad calls. Countless near turnovers including that shit show by Sprinkle. Everything said loss. The heart of this fuckin team said no. Not tonight!
Add Deshazor Everett to the list. He was always in on plays and made several vicious hits, one in particular on JuJu Smith-Schuster on the sideline that I remember to knock him out of bounds and prevent him from taking it up the sideline for a big play. On credited with 4 tackles and 2 pass deflections on the stat sheet, but I was noticing him playing like a beast all night. I kept commenting on his plays to my son.

Waking up this morning feeling like we won the damn Super Bowl or something. Honestly it's been a while since we've had such a satisfying win like that. Big props to the entire team and staff. Just an outstanding job. It finally feels like we're building something.
