Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Not even sure you need that much Kool Aid to see the Skins getting to 11 wins, a little sip may be enough... don't see us getting there the same way skinsfaninok does, but if the Skins play up to their potential, they could get there.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
The Redskins team that played Green Bay wins all of those games.
The Redskins team that played Indy loses all of those games. Time to find out which team we are. I don't think there's any team, save for perhaps Oakland and Arizona, that can't compete with us. But I think there are a few teams -- NO and LAR -- that we cannot compete with. We're moving in the right direction, but we have a ways to go still. I do think we win this weekend.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
The Redskins remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .391...Predict the Redskins win/loss record after 16 games.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
I predicated 10 at the beginning of the season. I am sticking to it.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
5 of those games are against division opponents where season records mean less. Houston just put 42 on miami and the afc south has been strong against the nfc east. Our 4 early wins help, but i see us ending with 9 wins, less if our second half issues continue on offense

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Per cbssports.com:
Giants holding a fire sale "La Canfora reports the Eli Apple deal was just the "tip of the iceberg" for New York, and the Giants could ultimately set up shop on the side of the Turnpike and try to dump off as many players as possible." This makes me wonder about the Giants' players state of mind going into Sunday's game. |

The Skins have not shown enough consistency to win 11 games. I need to see a complete game in all three areas, offense, defense, and special teams to predict anything more than the 8-8 I already predicted. Also, if we beat the Giants tomorrow, then the FO must step up and make a significant trade or two to strengthen our personnel for a playoff run. Sadly, I don't trust our FO to do the right thing and support Jay Gruden by upgrading personnel where it is most needed for this season. |

But. Looking at the schedule, is it so irrealistic to think we could win 7 of the remaining 10? Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
I'm only concerned about how we play and not about the schedule. Right now, the Skins have not shown that they can be consistent enough win 11 games. All of this talk of winning 11 games will vanish if we lose to the Giants tomorrow.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Alec Ogletree is out as well. I don't know how much we should need a passing game but my negative nelly side says jay gruden is going to force the pass and forget the run for the first time this year.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
That would be a huge mistake

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Because its Gruden and he feels like he needs to get the passing game going. Like i said it's more the nervous nellie or debbie downer part that just doesn't trust Grudens coaching
