He's had sacks in all but 2 starts this year. Just his usual 'overrated' self.

NFL teams where the future suddenly looks a lot better or a lot worse

Love seeing the Washington get some praise here, but something seems weird about our article compared to the other teams. Whatever, guess it's just my imagination. Go Washington!

Re: Packers Pre Game

Story claims Packers' Aaron Rodgers completely cut off his family two years ago

Packers related but this seems, if true, like Rodgers might be suffering from some kind of mental illness or something. I know people get pissed off at their families but this seems like going to the extreme when you read the lengths that he's went to to stay away

Two sides to every story. Maybe his parents are the kind of "famous people parents" that try to use their kids' celebrity for financial gain. Or maybe they were leeching off his money. Idk the whole story so I won't judge A-rod too harshly for it.

Dream scenario after this game: fat rob is named NFC offensive player of the week.

I don't see that happening against the 4th ranked rush defense, but it would be nice to McVay establish some kind of running game...

The Skins players need to keep all of their focus on this game and not read their own press clippings. The Packers are being disrespected by the media and I believe they'll be charged up for this game.
The media thing worries me the most. When these idiots declare a team dead, they usually come back on fire the very next week. Our players say stupid crap as well, even if we only win one game. Remember the "We own the East" comment? The very next week we play like crap against the Lions and lose. Yeah we came back in the 4th quarter, but we were sucking bad for 3 quarters of play. This team needs to have a reality check at all times. We win one game doesn't mean we are a great team. Our record the last 3 games is 1-1-1, not a great record. Get hungry, stay hungry and get to the big dance, then strut and dab, etc. Just win baby!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was a fair article. The only comment about us that was different than the others listed as fairly better was that he added we were still are a team in transition. I don't think that is a bad thing, just an observation, and pretty much on the money. Scotty is still building and a lot of these stop gap guys on the defense won't be around 2 years from now. The ones that aren't really producing anyway. We are a wildcard team at best still and still need a few pieces on the defense to take the next step.

The most important thing that we're now able to do with our running game is to get positive yardage and avoid negative yardage. That is especially important on first down. Three or four yards rushing on first down sets up the offense to run just about any play they want to run.

Rob Kelly has made a difference because he's a north-south runner who makes yards after contact but do not underestimate the ability of our OL to run block. I studied the OL tape after the Vikings game and they were moving people off the LOS. Even our TE's blocked well, considering that they are better known as receivers.

Another player who deserves recognition is Spencer Long. He has given us a powerful presence at C and he drove Linval Joseph, who is a load, out of position time and again. Long also pulled well and made his blocks on the move. He is a much improved player.

In short, I believe our running game will be able to do what it needs to do against the Packers. Maybe we won't run wild but we'll get positive yardage and keep their defense honest.

Re: Packers Pre Game

So we signed a long snapper to replace ailing Nick Sundberg. Who gets cut? Mack Brown? Put Sunberg in IR? Other?
