With those two major impediments in mind, I came into this season feeling that I would be satisfied with whatever I could get out of the Skins this season. I still feel that way. I anticipate that we'll add some top talent in free agency and have another good draft before next season. By that time, RGIII should be fully recovered. Then I'll expect much more. In no way has anything that has happened so far this season shaken my faith in the direction the franchise is heading or in the primary people who are leading the way, namely Mike Shanahan and Bruce Allen. On the other hand, I would have no problem if the coordinators were to leave and be replaced. I was never a fan of Haslett. IMO, he hasn't done a good enough job to be retained. As for Kyle, if there is in fact fundamental disagreement between Kyle and Mike about how the offense should be run, then Kyle should do the right thing and find another job after this season.

So I came out here in your neck of the woods to watch this crappy game. I assume I'm safe wearing Skins gear to Alameda?

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread
An away game to Oakland is being televised in Baltimore, yet a home game against Detroit isn't?
Now that the cramps and pain of being 0-3 are over, it's my time of the month- to watch the monthly win. I'm frying up pickles before the game and watching the 1st full game of the year (unless Kyle scripts 50 passes and Haslett is doing whatever he does en route to a blowout). It's got to start and end with Alfred |

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread
Question; where do we get these 3 wins from?

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread
Lol 23-21 raiders. We play at there homr history shown we have not been good against oakland other than 09. We go up against a much better D who has branch and a good iq FS in woodson who the team also have 3-4 cbs who matches up well against us . There team is physical.
They lost to denver because denver argubly the best team and in no way any team can handle welker/thomas/decker . We arr not the broncos ....our D is thr worst note we also never do good against mobile qbs I don't think rg3 will have the mentality to win in oakland...if they sscore early that's troutrouble. But you better pray we lose since haz woulsnt be fired if we win...shanny ego will gst him fired too if jim stays the whole year.....no coach will keep a bad DC for 4 years ranking top 5 worst every year Agree? |

Be careful, stay away from the black hole (you might disappear). Stay safe.

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread
It looks like our best chance of winning decreased dramatically, as it sounds like Pryor will be playing on Sunday. He is mobile, looked pretty good last week, and against us he may have a career day. We should not say "oh it's just the raiders" because they way we are playing, Oakland could run for 200 yards and Pryor could throw for 400 more and a couple of scores. When Sunday is over, we may have gave 500+ yards of offense....i hate to hear people saying "oh it's just the raiders we should win"
