I read some WP article recently about the percentage of Skins fumble recoveries and they are like 20% in recovering opposing fumbles. WTF?!

Most teams are somewhere around the 50% range. I've never seen a team with the "luck factor" be against them like it is against the Skins. Two fumbles today and both out of bounds. One fumble by Rex, recovered easily be the Vikings.

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

D let down when AP and Ponder went down. But again, it's all about Rexy: 2 big TOs, and that's the game. Plus, we didn't get any TOs back. Biggest stat in football.

Liked Royster! Tough holding call there on the Banks reverse. Oh, well. Look, I'm not one of those "it's better to lose" guys, but at least the "Rex isn't so bad" talk will go away. And we do pick up position in the draft (silver lining, it's all I've got left!).

How much did losing to the Yikes help us in the draft?

Is Rex's turnover streak and all time record?

I didnt get to see the game.
Why didnt Helu play?
Royster got 132 yards?
Is he that good or are the Vikings that bad?

I think Royster is that good, he has shown flashes in the other games.

Yeah they mentioned the Vikes top ten run defense. I think he's that good. A lot of his yards were second effort, breaking tackles, etc. today.

He had holes you could drive a 747 thru. With that said he still looked good. Torrain looked like crap, I am not sure what happened to him.

How could the Redskins lose a game like this? The defense couldn't stop a back up quarterback and a reserve running back. Just pitiful.

Right now I want to focus on the Redskins spoiling the Eagles playoff chances next week, that would be very sweet!!

Skins have bad track records against rookies/reserves. That and why we can't get a qb are two of the great mysteries of the NFL.

Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs when the Giants won.

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

Lots of talk about Rex blowing this game for us. True, his two turnovers didn't help, but the defense was horrific today. Just horrific. Got to put the blame more on the d then on Grossman's predictable inadequacies.
