Rookie will start over Rex and our WRs will look different no doubt. Helu starts and Hightower isn't brought back

Why don't you think Hightower will be back? I got the impression that Shanny really liked what he brought to the table. I think he will be around for a t least one more year as Helu learns the ropes. |

I just have a feeling because of his bad injury it's hard for RBs to get back to 100% not to mention he's a FA after this year. I'd like for him to b back though

Re: 2012 redskins
Oh ok gotcha, I am hoping he got somewhat lucky having the injury so early in the season. This will allow him to have enough time to rehab it properly, it's not much of a silver lining but at least its something!

Re: 2012 redskins
I would imagine Beck will be let go, so that leaves Rex at the QB along with a drafted QB and whom ever 3rd.
We should be set at RB. Hightower with Helu could be a really good tandem next season, Royster as the 3rd. I think its a wasted pick to draft a RB next year. WR - Moss, Gaffney, Hankerson, Paul. TE - Davis, (Cooley may be gone) Paulson and maybe a vet or late rd draft pick OL - Honestly think what we had prior to the injuries will be a good line. Williams, lickensteiger, montgomery, Chester, Brown. Now, I do think we draft a RT early (2nd or 3rd). I have always wondered where Selvish Capers is? is he on the practice squad? I believe with the style of offense ran at WVU he would be a really good fit as a guard in this system. He is big, strong and very athletic. WVU lineman had to be able to block, get off the block and quickly move to 2nd level. This system should fit his ability. DL - We are good. Bowen, Cofield, Carriker, Jenkins, Neild. LB - We are good here too. Maybe get a guy mid to late for inside LB, CB - this is where we need to get a stud. if not 2nd, then 3rd. Need a starter if not addressed in FA. safety - If Landry and Otagwe can stay healthy that would be a really really good tandem. Gomes has played well, Daughty is a back up, and a decent one. draft is so tricky. There are so many QB's coming out this year that we could draft one in the 2nd round and make a play for Blackmon (WR our of Oaklahoma st) early 1st round. I would probably go after RGIII. THe guy is just outstanding and watching what Cam Newton has done in Carolina, he would be hard to look past. He is faster than Cam, and has a BIG arm. And may be more polished as a passer. |

Re: 2012 redskins
An offensive tackle who cannot pass protect, but as soon as you bump him inside he becomes a more interesting reclamation project.

Re: 2012 redskins
What's his contract situation in Atlanta? If I'm not mistaken, when we moved down in the draft a few times in 2008, one of the teams that traded us picks to move up was Atlanta... to draft Sam Baker.
