Re: Earthquake in DC!
I don't mind the authorities being extra cautious, especially when it comes to old buildings. Luckily I work in a fairly new building in downtown Baltimore, but still there were people checking the structures and whatnot to make sure there was no damage.

I want hear a story of a couple screwing during this and not knowing it was a earthquake at the time. Preferable the story includes a hot girl.

Animals go wild before quake
Well before any humans ducked beneath desks or sought shelter in doorways on Tuesday, wildlife at the zoo started to react to the oncoming earthquake. But just like humans, some zoo residents barely registered yesterday's major tectonic motion. Zookeepers said throughout the shaking, the giant pandas hardly moved a paw. There has to be an analogy there. |

Re: Earthquake in DC!
When it first happened I thought someone was shaking my chair behind me to get my attention, i turned around and looked, no one there. When i turned around again, my cubicle walls were shaking violently, and people were actually running down the hall and running through the cafeteria to get outside. crazy. I work in winchester, they say it was a true 5.8 there. my mother said she had plates fall out of her cabinet while it was happening. Nuts that something like this happened around here.

Apparently was a 4.5 aftershock a few minutes ago. My news feed is quite active right now.

Re: Earthquake in DC!
Yeah I felt that 2. Saw a report where these aftershocks could continue for the next few weeks because of how shallow the quake was.
