At this point, the Levi pick is probably a good move...perhaps a bit late but good enough...unless of course we signed a crazy deal On paper, we have two past first rounders for the Tackle spot...unfortunately, they are getting their reps during the regular season vs preseason...just think of the rest of the games as an extended preseason...if thats the case, it is feasible that the two number ones could work out ok for the short term...in skins language on o line...3 years or so.

I think it's a good move! Yes, we could have done this earlier. Hind-sight is 20/20. Eff it.

Re: Redskins cut Mason and Alridge, sign OT Levi Jones
OMFG. You mean they couldn't cut Rock and Betts, keep Mason and Alridge, bring in somebody elses camp scrub Ganther, and hire Levi.
Mason would have been nice to maybe keep for a replacement for Portis, Alridge would have been nice if we had a decent HC to know how to use his talents, and a power back in Ganther. Go figure. Everytime they do something stupid I get more and more dissinfranchised. |

Re: Redskins cut Mason and Alridge, sign OT Levi Jones
Levi Jones was a good pickup, it shows that the front office isnt totally giving up on the season at this point....They should go even further and add a Guard as well...like Shawn Murphy
Dolphins waived OG Shawn Murphy.(Oct 20th Murphy had spent part of the offseason working as the starter while Donald Thomas recovered from a torn biceps. The former fourth-rounder shouldn't be out of work long. |

Um...West Coast Fullback?
Seriously though, I don't realistically expect him to get much playing time. And I suspect Mason or Alridge will be back by next week.

Re: Redskins cut Mason and Alridge, sign OT Levi Jones
I know that it seems to be either hate him or love him with D Hall, but I wonder if Levi is this year's D Hall. We sign him mid-season and next thing you know he's a starter the next year for us. Jones can play in this league, there's no question about that. The only question is can he stay healthy.
