Probably their defensive line will also play safety. You can put Justin Tuck and Canty at safety. :smashfrea

Maybe the Giants can get Roy Williams from the Cowgirls, they seem to think quantity is better than quality from what I've seen of their FA signings so far.

Some highlights in the article include:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Brian Dawkins hadn't officially signed with the Denver Broncos when some Eagles fans began ordering No. 20 orange jerseys.

If there ever was a player who can get the local die-hards to turn on their beloved Iggles or simply root as hard for another team, it's Dawkins. His departure leaves a huge void in the Eagles' secondary and a bigger hole in the hearts of the Philadelphia faithful.

"I'm the biggest Eagles fan, but I'm rooting for Denver to win the Super Bowl because I love that guy,"
Denver is going back to orange jerseys full time? I always liked them better than the new blue ones.

Brings back fond memories of SB XXII.

I am enjoying this destruction of the Eagles: Dawkins, Shepherd, Buckhalter, Runyan, McNabb...

And apparently Westbrook had knee surgery this offseason. I know it sounds like it isn't a big deal now, but I only wonder what the Iggles are without him if he goes down.

Eagles' Westbrook has high expectations -- themorningcall.com

I am going to go out on a limb and say that this season BJ is on the downside of a Laron Landry highlight reel.

Ask him (Jacobs) how many TDs he scored in that game.

Because he didn't score any TDs during that game (when he ran over Landry). I'm just saying, he can run over anyone, as long as he doesn't score any TDs.

Pretty ignorant to hang your evaluation of a player on one play. If I weighed 70lbs more than Brandon Jacobs and was coming at him with a full head of steam, I'd probably run him over.

Funny how you mocked the opinion that Laron is the best safety in the division, yet you failed to name anyone better.

Exactly.

LL is not the best safety in the league but he's a pretty good one.

Almost all players get lit up at some point. LL did. ST, Lavar, LL, Mike Sellers etc have lit up their share over the last decade.

As much as I would like to, there really is no basis to talk trash to a Giant's fan regarding that first game. We were manhandled by their offensive and defensive lines.

The Jacobs run was an exclamation point.

We were manhandled by their defensive line, but they only put up 16 points. Yes, we lost the game, and there's no moral victory in the NFL. However, their offense was not that great and our defense played very well. With the way our anemic offense was during that game, the Giants should've have scored a ton of points, but Mr. "I ran over Landry" could not find the endzone.
