If you were drinking when you were a baby, your father is a dumbass. Judging by the fact that you're only on your 5th beer at 4pm(3pm central), you suck at drinking too. |

Re: Problems, And Excuses!
i think denim was banned already? mod, please fix, thanks.
and you left out the denver game where brunell threw for something like 390 yards, and SF didn't make your list. both SF and STL we were running so well we didn't need to pass though. |

The point was to illustrate that even during the 36-35 shootout with Tampa Bay, and the games that followed, he didn't eclipse the 200 yard passing mark for the remainder of the season. So his decline started way before this preseason and weeks 1 and 2. Not that any of this matters to Joe Gibbs though ... |

Re: Problems, And Excuses!
right, i was just curious as to why the den and SF games were left out. that said, brunell has never been a prolific passer. he's NEVER passed for as many TDs as last year (thanks cooley, thanks sellers), and he's never hit 4k in yards either.

Re: Problems, And Excuses!
There are tons of excuses and problems. Brunell certainly is not to blame for all the team's woes. The tailbacks need to pick up blitzes better. The O-linemen, particularly Jansen, need to step it up. And, of course, Brunell cannot be blamed for our woeful defense.
All that being said, Brunell, right now, is a big part of the problem. Should we trade for Brett Favre? No. Should we throw Collins or Campbell into the mix yet? No. Can Brunell recover? Yes, I just hope he does it fast because he's looked awful thus far and I cannot stomach another loss. |

Re: Problems, And Excuses!
this is my suggestion lets see where we are going into the bye week...anything less than 3-4 we need to prepare JC to play after the bye. 2-5 the season is a wash.
