Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
I agree. That's a sharp, colorful uniform.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
So all the Browns are doing are putting numbers on their helmet... Why even have a "throwback" at that point?

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
Helmet stripe is different, uniform stripes are slightly different.
They haven't changed much over their history, they can't just make something up. Personally, I think they should do the helmet numbers full-time. The new owner of the Browns is planning on making some uniform changes in the future...no word on how big. He just hinted at it in his first press conference.

Man the Jets and Steelers have ugly throwbacks. I have to say, my favorite throwback aside from ours, is either the Pats or the Lions.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
Yeah, I LOVE the Pat Patriot uniforms. Flying Elvis was a terrible idea.
The Falcons, Rams, Bucs and Bills all look great too, along with us of course. The Jets missed a big opportunity to bring back some great-looking Kelly Green uniforms...instead, the used the Titans identity that no one knew existed and no one likes seeing now. I think I like the Colts but that "kicked in the back of the head" look is tough to get used to.

I bet the Packers are jealous of our leather helmets. They'd look great with their throwbacks too.
The Steelers' use of their current helmets...seriously...who approved that blunder?

I decided to redesign PSU's football uniforms for them.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
Thanks. I love the way the helmets turned out.
I was not crazy about it either. I was going for a certain look but I don't think I nailed it. MS Paint will do that to you. I was aiming for the numbers that Ohio State had on their Pro Combats a couple years back. The 49ers also used these numbers a long time ago. By the way, Petershwin is a common Amish name. Fitting for Penn State.
