Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Forbes has potential to be good he’s just young. Also kinda hard to judge since he has maybe the worst DC in the nfl.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
EB has Sam playing at a very high level .. even when the D knows we ain’t running ! If this trend continues know way I break that combo up .. If our D had lived up to expectations we would be sitting pretty good right now ..

JDRs coverage schemes are not suited for coverage.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I'm also on board with hiring a defensive-minded HC next year and if they want to retain EB I'm fine with it. EB has potential if he would learn the value of the running game. I think he gave up on the run game last week because we were getting 1-2 ypc on first down. But we started having more success at the end of the game.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I'd keep EB as the OC and hire a real HC and DC

The Sam Howell Thread
Quote:
He would still be top 4 in yardage if he had and that would entail that stroud, tua, and goff all have 200-280 yards passing in their games during Sams bye. Mahommes and Dak would need to have huge games to catch him and nobody else would. Even in TD’s he would be top 5 with an even amount of games. So it maybe a little misleading but he would still be top 3-5. Last edited by punch it in; 11-15-2023 at 10:30 AM. |
