Smith may not be here if we get a whole new regime in 2019.. But I don't want to see him gone. He's a good QB guys, not great but good

I wanted Case Keenum, like I said he would have been cheaper, would have kept Fuller and the 3rd, now that’s in the past and I’ll stop bitching about it. What’s disturbing about Smith is, he had great halves at AZ and versus GB, then nothing on the second halves and vs Indy and last night. I bet McCoy can find our WR’s.

It's definitely playoffs or bust for Gruden and Allen.

We are going to have to go back into the draft and get a qb. You're not going to have a running game every week. You need the most important position on the field to be able to carry the offense sometimes.

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
I've been reserved to jumping on the whole "fire Jay" bandwagon the past couple years, but I think I've finally been persuaded. It's time to get rid of Jay Gruden at the end of the season. His teams have NO discipline whatsoever and it shows every single week regardless of a win or not. Penalties. Blown assignments. It happens over and over and over. At this point, you can't say it's on the players because no matter who the players we've cycled in and out, the common denominator is Jay Gruden.
A good speech from Brian Mitchell out it... https://twitter.com/NBCSRedskins/sta...49585310846976 Lets take a look at his record: 2014- (4-12) 2015- (9-7) *won NFCE 2016- (8-7-1) 2017- (7-9) Look at this. Here we are in year five and the dude STILL doesn't have this team to a playoff caliber level. Let's be real here. 2015 was a fucking fluke. You know it. I know it. Jay knows it. When you win your division with a 9-7 record, it tells you that division sucks. He's produce nothing but mediocrity regardless of the players that have been here. It's time we move on from this experiment. Too bad we let McVay go, he was the guy we needed to keep. Also, Bruce needs to fucking go right along with Jay.

Yeah obv it's playoffs or bust for Gruden and Allen, but even if they go do we have any faith in Dan to find the right guy? This team is cursed.

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
One positive to point out is, Jonathan Allen has become the leader of the D and will not take shit from anyone. He comes from a winning tradition and hopefully his attitude will rub off on the others.
I’m beginning to dislike DJ, STFU and play the game: Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger called Saints receiver Michael Thomas a "clown." Swearinger and the other defensive backs complained about what Thomas would do after the whistle, such as hitting them in the leg and other stuff. "He's just a clown; just clowning," Swearinger said. "Just doing little petty stuff after the play. Petty stuff after the play the referees would call if this wasn't history night for Drew Brees. But we had to fight against the refs and all that, too."
