Re: The Cut List 2014
Does this mean that Silas Redd makes the team as an UDFA? If so, that would be quite an accomplishment for him.
Also, I wonder if the Skins have their eye on another RB who is not currently on the team. Is a trade possible?

@MikeJonesWaPo: Source says Phillip Thomas, Chase Minnifield and Everette Brown have all been cut.

Re: The Cut List 2014
Looks like Hocker is gone and we're keeping Fleabath.

Re: The Cut List 2014
@NBCdianna silas redd will make the roster. after cutting Seastrunk, Thompson/Royster, this makes sense. Reddd had strong summer.

Re: The Cut List 2014
Alfmo, redd and helu as the 3rd down back. Makes sense. Not as surprised by Lache release, but getting to the ps will be interesting

I think keeping Redd says power running will be very important in our scheme. Gotta have a guy to back up Alfmo if your scheme depends on yards after contact

Re: The Cut List 2014
Redd seems like he has closer skillset to Morris, better backup if injury happens. Wanted Seastrunk to stick around, hopefully we can get him on the PS.

Re: The Cut List 2014
@rich_tandlerCSN If Hank, Bowen go to PUP and Neild to IR, two more moves to be made. #Redskins.

Re: The Cut List 2014
So Thomas cut. too bad. Thought he had a shot at being a solid safety. Does he have PS eligibility since he was on IR all last year?

Re: The Cut List 2014
A whole lot of young names on this list, surprised to see guys like Phillip Thomas on there. Hopefully we'll have a strong practice squad, but I think a guy like Seastrunk will get snatched up.

Re: The Cut List 2014
Phillip Thomas is a surprise, also the fact that neither Thompson nor Seastrunk made it was surprising, but I gotta tip my hand to Silas Redd, he really looked like our 2nd best RB all pre-season.

Re: The Cut List 2014
I have a sinking feeling we will regret not keeping Seastrunk. I wonder whether Thomas' foot injury was enough to scare off the coaching staff. Guys with injury histories (Thompson Crawford Thomas) aren't faring well.

Re: The Cut List 2014
I think expanded practice squad rules must play a part. Team must feel easier to get younger guys thru the waivers
