Do you think he can bring us to the Super Bowl? thats the question you have to ask yourself....
So you never answered my question. What name were your previously posting under last year? Multiple accounts aren't allowed, so fess up and maybe I'll spare you.

To answer your question regarding JC I honestly don't know. I think in the first 8 games last year we saw what is capable of when supported by good protection and a good ground game. I definitely think we need to see what he can do in year #2 under Zorn. If he doesn't take a big step forward this year he will be gone next year without a doubt.

I disagree, there's nothing more important in the world!

Seriously though, if we applied that sentiment to everything on this site, the whole thing would just be shut down. It's just football, not war, but it obviously means a lot to those who take the time to post here.

Also, in my unbiased opinion, extremeskins is not a highly regarded site by the warpath faithful, and people here strive to be better than ES.

Thumbs up I guess, as far as letting him stick around.

I can understand what he's saying, but I don't completely agree with his logic. I'm not a huge fan of Campbell as a player but I do think there is still a good chance to he makes that jump to the next level this year if his supporting cast plays like it did at the beginning of last season. Think back to the long TD pass against the Saints at the beginning of the season (God that was a long time ago): he made a great move to avoid the rush; dipped his shoulder while keeping his eyes downfield; and fired the ball right on point to Moss. If he can make a play or two like that per game, and I think he can, we better pray that we can resign him.

thats kind of my point....great QB's dont need the supporting cast all the time...they go out and win the games, even when other parts of a team are faultering... i remember the jc pass in the saints game, but i also remember games likes the steelers and cowboys at home, where JC had a deer in headlights look.

Dude, we get it, you don't like Campbell.. If you want a thumbs up then don't be a one trick pony. Bring something other than 'JC sucks' to the board. What else ya got?

How many truly great QBs are there in the league right now? No more than 3-5 that I can name.

Fact is the majority of the QBs in the league need a good supporting cast, and there's nothing wrong with that. JC might never be a Brady, Manning or Brees type, but you don't necessarily need that kind of QB to be a winner. Even the greats have a good cast around them. Just ask Marino where being a great QB on consistently mediocre teams gets you.

We can discuss a bunch of things but you seem to want to discuss thing (singular). Is your entire base of Redskins knowledge and focus Jason Campbell? You act like you walked in on him doing a two minute drill on your mom. Seriously, what else do you have? Portis? Hall? HB Blades? Samuels? Suisham? Draft? Any other opinions other than 'JC sucks'?

He's "new" I guess so we can cut him a break, but generally I agree, one trick ponies wear out their welcome pretty quick around here.

So a QB gets drafted this decade in the 2nd round, in his first 28 starts he compiles stats of 29 TD, 31 INT, averaging right around 200 yards per game, 6.7 yards per completion, 79.7 QB rating while posting a sub .500 record. He's roundly criticized by his team's fan base for his lack of production, lack of consistency, accuracy and leadership abilities. Their was excitement was boundless when his replacement was sought, even though it was publicly botched. Any guesses who that QB is?

Drew Brees: Career Stats

The patron saint of not giving up on young QB too soon. Everyone in SD just knew that Brees was a bust and would be nothing but a journeyman backup (sound familiar?) but once his position was threatened by the Phillip Rivers trade he turned things around quickly. Possibly JC gets the same motivation by the "botched trade".

Well even Tom Brady had a very strong defense as a supporting cast the year before they got Moss, when he had no one to throw to except his tight ends; not to mention that he had one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Without checking stats and just off the top of my head, I would say that the top 3 QBs right now are: Brady, P. Manning, and Brees. One thing that I believe all of these QBs have supporting them are solid offensive lines (well the Colts line was a bit shaky at the beginning, esp. when Saturday was out) and very good wideouts (Moss/Welker in NE, Wayen/Gonzalez/Clark in Indy, and Colston/Henderson/Moore in N.O).
