Fumbles can be corrected for RBs, but not typically with QBs. Ask Dave Krieg.
Yes but your failing to mention he also went 27/15, 21/16 and 24/8.

Brunell can't take us to where we want to go and that is why he is on the bench.

Friday can't come soon enough.
Well it's better than talking about dog fighting, or how do you think JC will do this year, or Portis/Betts. But you are correct. Friday needs to get here ASAP.

Re: Brooks Works Out For The Skins?!

I find it odd that we are still talking about this. Of course I am just as much to blame, but it's still odd.

1- Brooks is not a good starting QB, or even an adaquate back up anymore (regardless of what 2 people on this site think)
2- He is not going to ever dawn a Skins Uni, so all this is moot.
3- Our qb scenario is set in stone, let's start the season already!!!

I'd take Mel Brooks over Aaron Brooks

Re: Brooks Works Out For The Skins?!

Brooks won't EVER play for the SKINS! MB will be fine in his backup roll, if he's needed in a limited roll he will be just fine.

If it's an extended stay, good LORD willing it won't be (no injury bugs) different story, don't know how that might unfold.

Part of the reason Brunell can't take us where we want to go is because hes on the bench...and hes on the bench so Jason Campbell doesnt have to be on the bench. Not for any other reason.

Just sayin

He can't take us to where we want to go cause he is not good enough at this point of his career.

Couldn't agree more about Brooks but Palmer and Casey ought to compete for 3rd.

Brunell taking the field this year means certain disaster. We'll face eight guys up front even on passing downs. News flash: he can't throw anymore.

I agree with your QB depth chart projection....however, it seems most here are not thrilled with the idea of Mark Brunell as a long term backup.

I agree, based on age.
Brunell does have an unbeatable attitude.
He is the ultimate team player...he gave us some amazing games against Dallas....he actually gave us some hope that we haven't had for a very long time...before Brunell got in synch with Moss....he was basically average.
I really hope Brunell stays around for a long time...but as a 3rd stringer or coach next year....beyond that he may hurt us.
I love his attitude. We need other Redskins to pick that up.
The only thing we need is a potential starter at number 2.....right now, we dont have that. I really dont know of any QB available that has that potential. (excluding Culpepper, who is walking on eggshells).

For you Brunell haters...please tell me who we pick up at this point (except Culpepper) to replace him at number 2?
Brunell's the chief reason for the Redskin's woes. Please don't tell me Brunell led us to the playoffs. I saw the games.

The problem is his body is too old to endure an entire season. Last year his best games were early in the season then he got banged up and it got ugly. 2yrs ago his deep ball looked great early (Cowboys MNF) by week 10 on it got really ugly. Not to mention he took us to the playoffs, got a victory and Santana Moss had a breakout season that year so Mark was doing something right. If he is forced to come in for 3 games he'll be nice and fresh and get the job done. Long story short that sounds like the type of guy we all should want JC to learn from. Good guy on and off the field, kind of reminds me of Gibbs. Maybe I'm ignorant can someone educate me on a wikipedia update of Aaron Brooks??
You have a point. Brunell might be capable of wo or three games.

While were letting has-beens work out why don't we give Jeff Hostetler a call?

Or Jeff George, or Jeff Blake.
