This particular "debate topic" is one that often devolves into an "either/or" mode very quickly. I was only trying to point out that sometimes the best answer lies somewhere between the two choices.

Since you said you "aim to please", that reminded me of a very old joke about the sign in a men's public restroom from the restroom attendants:

YOU AIM TOO, PLEASE.

Understood - I kind of thought that too. That's probably why I am so interested in this debate. Because a lot of times, there seems to be a stance taken that is - either/or. A discussion may soften their stance a little or make them more convinced. I, for one, may flip-flop my opinion on this subject while I read others' opinions and posts. Excuse my political-like manuevering in the meantime until I am confident that my opinion is the only opinion

If what I am reading in articles about Calvin Johnson is true- that he is the Reggie Bush of this draft - if he drops to #6, I think the redskins should pick him up. Regardless of need and the skins' current talent at wide receiver.

Say what you will about talent, X's and O's, and filling holes - but if you have Reggie Bush type of impact player on a team - I feel that it automatically bumps you up a level. But that's only if reports are true.

I would draft the best available at a position of need. Trading down as Best available don't fit a need...
