Or...
too bad winning a superbowl puts dollar signs in everyone's eyes and all the FAs tend to jet ASAP for big deals... after losing pierce, Gibbs and co. have done a good job keeping people off the FA market (lemar (before being named the starter) + rock got a 3 year deal, santana, el, etc all got 7 year deals, and so on).

Super Bowls become really expensive once the celebration dies down.

You are either being a silly billy or didn't realize the other part of my post. Because of the great fans and the incredible locker room chemistry, everyone who's contracts are up will sign for the veteran minumum...the incentive will be the $5,000 extra they are paid for each trip around redskins park giving snyder piggy back rides. Seriously, if they do win the big one and almost everyone on the team will have an article or 20 about how they are the player that had the most to do with the sucess of the redskins, why would any of them expect big money?

Also, speaking of superbowls, did you know that Jerome Bettis founded Detroit City? Did you know that no Steelers players from last year cared about football or winning? They only worked hard, sacrificed, struggled, studied, and willed their way to victory because they wanted Bettis to win a ring, the fact they got rings didn't matter to them, only Bettis' ring matters.

Doesn't sound like this is going to be a big issue, the Post says that Betts was helping Duckett with plays yesterday.

I also think it's an advantage having Byner as the RB coach. He went through the same thing in '91 so he can relate to the guys that they'll all get their carries at some point.

Duckett only needs one play: line up behind Sellars and run over/step on anyone not wearing Skins colors.
